I ordered the crab boil with 1lb of snow crab, 1/2lb of shrimp, extra potatoes & extra corn in the garlic butter Old Bay flavor with mild spice level. I went around 6pm on a Saturday & placed my to go order & it took less than 10 mins. The flavor was perfect & not too salty. The crab was cooked to perfection & I didn't have to use any tools to get the meat. It came out in whole pieces. The sweet corn & the potatoes soaked up the flavors inside the bag & was delicious. But the shrimp was slightly overcooked. Too chewy for my liking, but that was the only negative & it was still delicious!

This place was excellent. We were a little leery, since the lot was nearly empty around 6pm, so we got groceries first.Knowing how good they are now, I'm sorry we waited. Food was delicious, in good portions, and served pretty quickly. We got the Dungeness Crab, Shrimp, and Blue Crab, with hush puppies for an appetizer. To address some of the detracting reviews:-Yes, it's messy. They do provide gloves, an endless supply of napkins, and a bucket to put shell bits in. That said, sage advice says don't eat authentic seafood boils in your sunday best. It ends with butter stains.-Seafood is gonna be up there in price, especially king crab. Buy in-season if you want it cheap. Their portions are huge considering the price and quality, so it's worth it.-The staff were so attentive and polite. We were pretty low-maintenance, but our waiter still checked in regularly. When he saw we'd given up on struggling to rip crab legs apart with gloves on and were using our bare hands, he brought us wipes to clean up with.We will be coming back here again, and we'll recommend this place to our friends. Yummy Crab indeed!

this was my second time visiting this restaurant first time the food came in a styrofoam to go container no problem whatever. this time came out of dish they have a cracker they got a bucket for you to put your shelves in I got the half pound snow crab legs and a half pound shrimp the shrimp are cooked beautifully however the crab legs were way overcooked the meat did not come out of the shell like it normally would if it was cooked correctly it just kept tearing. I asked for the garlic butter with Old Bay seasoning I got it without the Old Bay seasoning. just a little disappointed more in the crab meat being overcooked than anything but otherwise decent place good service

Honestly not one bad thing to say, I’m pretty sure all the people who put negative reviews are the red lobster type, I thought this tasted like a true seafood place, I got the Cajun clams, black mussels and crawfish boil, and I’m gonna be honest it’s probably the better of most seafood in Grand Rapids. Definitely doesn’t get the credit it deserves, our food came super fast and our appetizers where almost instant. Not a lot of people so it wasn’t overwhelming especially on a Friday night. I tip my hat to the crew and hands that prepared our dishes for us, it was greatly appreciated and over the top delicious. I was hesitant going in because of the negative people who don’t know seafood, and I was astonished after seeing the platter and tasting everything. Highly recommend medium Cajun and I can garuntee you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all the employees?? you guys are doing great

The only thing that I didn't like was the market price for king crab. Yikes! But I'd say that this place has far better food, choices, and service than that other lobster place. Those king crab legs were to die for! I just wish we'd gotten garlic butter, alone. The old bay seasoning was WAY too strong, even though we ordered it light.

Great service, great portions, awesome flavor. Shrimp were easy to peel, Huge crawfish. Fast service. Excellent seafood quality. Will definitely visit again.

Just tried it for the first time, excellent service and good portions, done in garlic butter, no spices, very good, I'm looking forward to the next time I'm in the mood for seafood

I come here WAY too oftenThis is the best place in GR for seafood boils, everything is great I have no complaints exceptWhen they first opened I feel like the flavor was better and the spice levels were more accurate, now when I order medium, hot or extra hot they all are the same :(Also, if you don’t know what a seafood boil is, don’t come here, it all comes in a bag together with sauce at the bottom, duh

The food no need to explain it really good. BUT for Dine in it, take forever the food to be ready. 5 stars is for the food, and I'll give 2 stars for the wait time

Not a fancy place but the food was plentiful and delicious. #9 is a whole average size snow crab (two halves), 1/2 pound nice size shrimp and several mussels. Two redskins potatoes ans two half corn steamed in bag with very tasty sauce. Only thing I wouldn't order again is raw oysters. They were cooking type. Not great raw.
