I love this place, the food is always on point and the staff especially Fran make you feel like family. Unfortunately lately I have felt uncomfortable due to hearing "Chef" feel the need to belittle Fran and treat her very rudely...not to mention with quite the choice words. I feel this should be unacceptable especially considering customers can hear and see this happen.
1st time visit was great. Older style diner setting with wood floors, very busy, parking is tricky for sure as most are on street. They do have a back parking lot but if your not looking you won’t see it. They do have a back handicap ramp in that lot. The portions were large and the service was great. The polish omelette special was awesome, the Kapusta on top of the omelette was unreal:) huge red bliss potatoes, crispy, and yummy. Overall beside rough parking (especially when busy). Well worth the wait. Will go back.
Our 1st time there yesterday. The food, the service, the atmosphere was awesome. You will not find a better breakfast anywhere. Give this place a try if you have not before. We come to G R quite often and we will b back. The wait staff is very attentive and polite with smile. Somewhat small so plan a little time but it is well worth it.
The prices are quite agreeable. The food was too quality. This visit was easily one of my favorite breakfast experiences every. The only thing that could have made it better would be a Mimosa or Bloody Mary. The Hollandaise was velvet smooth and had his the right tang to it, meats cooked to perfection, and the coffee strong. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Great food, staff and prices.11/10 will return.

I’ve been here a few times and their food is excellent. Be warned they come in very large portions, so you get a lot for your buck. The menu is large and has a lot of options, and the prices are reasonable. The wait staff is also very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.
Very friendly atmosphere. Extremely comfortable. The staff was thorough, friendly and attentive. McKinsey was our waitress. We were well taken care of. The food was fantastic, the portions were very good as well. We will be back more often.
Had the 7th St big breakfast with a waffle and it was amazing. The biscuits and gravy are worth a trip just on their own. They give you so much food, absolutely great bang for you buck and very friendly and helpful servers. Definitely going back.

We had terrific service. Friendly staff. Cool old building with original flooring and historical pictures on the wall. Got the quiche of the day (Broccoli cheddar) with perfectly ripen melons and berries, the muffin of the day (lemon raspberry), and a side salad. My companion had pierogies with delicious rye bread and red skinned potatoes and kapusta. Will return for another great experience.
