Awesome aesthetic, walked in and immediately thought “this is it, the best hidden bar in GR”Bar tender was friendly, no complaints there.Had one drink and knew it was Disney without the magic though. $12.70 for a doll house cup (literally packed full of ice) that unfortunately tasted like motor oil. Thought maybe it was just my drink but looked around and saw everyone had dwarf glasses with mostly ice (or 65% foam in a pencil glass)Not sure if a secret flavor was forgotten in my drink or what, but on quantity of product alone it’s just not worth it (they probably have a great drink for 15 that’s full worth it, just ask the bartender before you order—don’t make my mistakes, you can lick the asphalt outside for free.)Will try it again one day because I don’t want to dog a place for one bad night. Hopefully next time the bar tenders can flex their talents and make something their way without the fear of management or overhead pushing against them. Really hope that’s it…and what I had is not like their secret signature drink or something (please god, please no)My drink was a marg btw, and for sanity sake I went to the restaurant attached and ordered one for less price, more quantity, and good flavor.Happy drinking!
I’m not sure what happened but we got really bad service from a server/bartender when we stopped in on a Tuesday night 4/12 at about 9pm. We sat by the lounge and it was trivia night. We were excited to be there, and I asked a couple questions about the space while we helped the server gather glasses and my friend commented that she seemed pretty annoyed that we were there. I asked before we sat down if we could sit there and she said yes. I asked if she had a paper menu, which she said she did, but then she asked twice if I really wanted it (I did) and then never brought it. She took the QR code menu out of my hands to wipe it, which seemed fine, but then she wiped my friends knee while wiping the table, which seemed weird. She did bring us waters, but no cocktail suggestions, no attempt to take our order, or any other attempts to connect with us. My friend watched her take the drink orders of several tables and get second rounds for people over in the trivia area for about fifteen-twenty minutes or so— we even tried to get her attention— until she walked past us guiding a different guest to give them a tour of the closed Two Monks space, so we stood up and left. I’m not sure if she was an owner, server or manager but I was really disappointed with the experience. I want to go back, but I don’t really want to risk her serving me again.
Absolutely fantastic service! Alex and Mary Kate were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the wonderful spirits. A very comfortable small place that allows friends to converse over drinks. I’m looking forward to being back soon!
Great hidden gem vibes! Love the spirits and super creative cocktails!
The bartenders are literally the best, they deserve the biggest pay increase. This place is quickly becoming a regular spot for my friends and me. The drinks are great and the bar has some great vibes.
Such a great time here! If you’re going, make sure Casey is bartending. Great guy, made us laugh, and makes AMAZING drinks. New favorite.
Casey is the best bar tender! Great time and great drinks. Really impressed by the spirits. Try the special smoked zombie!
