I had this Rueben meal Doordashed to my hotel room. This is amazing food! Even the to go package is beautiful!
We've been living in walking distance for nearly 3 years and finally stopped in for a visit. The food and drinks were fine. Our server was attentive and polite. What I didn't appreciate was another employee walking up to my husband and I asking from half way across the room if we'd settled our bill as we were putting on coats to leave. I don't like to pull the race card but as the only brown couple in there why in the hell are you checking in on a table you aren't even servicing and why assume we were dining and dashing ? So embarrassing!
Save yourself the time and money and DO NOT GO HERE. Incredibly rude staff and they could not care less about safety or respect for their customers. My two male friends were thrown against a wall and kicked out of the establishment for kissing. Supporting this bar is supporting discrimination, do no subject your family and friends to this kind of environment.
I was staying at this hotel for a work trip. Takeysa, the front desk manager has been AMAZING. She was so understanding and receptive and helped me get settled In. I have never had such amazing support. This hotel is SO LUCKY TO HAVE HER. Respect everything this hotel has to offer because she is the BEST.
Great bar with plenty of seating inside and a nice outdoor patio in the back for the warmer months. Lots of TV’s inside for sports and great food options. The chicken wings are always good.
This bar is so far from back in the day when it had amazing bartenders like Carley and Blake. Let alone the security...you used to have people that truly cared about each and everyone's well being and now you have someone like Jim that only cares about how much you're spending and the color of your skin. I've never felt so uncomfortable at any bar in Grand Rapids as I did tonight and I highly recommend trying so many of the better bars across the city! I mean I guess when the owners of Holiday have been busted for stealing from a church that should have been a big enough sign. Do yourselves a favor and find a different GR establishment that cares about the community and their customers. If you choose to go there anyway...good luck because the stories of what they've done to people is gut wrenching.
Nice selection of beers. Very clean and light atmosphere. Service was good as well.
I do not recommend this bar at all!! Their security allowed a intoxicated grown man to puff his chest in my face and call me names and go after those I was visiting with (I am a 5”0 female) and they did not step in at all, they pulled their phones out and recorded the incident rather than helping. When I asked what their names were they all told me “you need to leave now” and “f*ck off”. All of their staff was very rude, would never recommend this bar to anyone.
Celebrated the USMC 246th bday here with friends! Great bar, service was great, music was fun and plenty of fun memories!
