Great little eatery. A step above in terms of price to your standard restaurant but it is absolutely worth it. I have been a few times now and everything I order is too notch. Their French onion soup is one of the best in town!
The food was absolutely incredible, the asparagus risotto was to die for. Darryl was our server and we was so sweet, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave us the time a space we wanted with and awesome smile. Our first experience here was really nice!
We celebrated a birthday lunch here. We sat outside and the service and food was very good! A couple family members went back a few days later. I look forward to dining here again soon.
Salmon was more than it said in the menu...didnt find out until the bill came. Our waiter spent way more time with a larger table. When he showed up he mumbled and was quick to leave. Salmon is wayyyy over priced and was fishy. It was supposed to come with potato and vegetables, but we were only given the potato. We won't return there...we were very disappointed.
WARNING…DO NOT ORDER ADD ON SHRIMP…bad service/ok food/outrageous add on shrimp!! For the last 10 years, my friends and I have been "touring" the Grand Rapids restaurants and this is my first ever review. I know there is a major staffing struggle in the restaurant industry and supply issues so I was willing to forgive/forget the bad service/ok food until I received my bill.To make a long story short, we waited for an extended period of time to place our order. After already making our selections, the waitress (Kayla) told us the two "favorite" menu items (beef bouguignon and cog au vin) were not available. Alternatively, I chose the homemade egg noodles ($21 on the menu). Kayla offered add on shrimp. It sounded good so I added six shrimp. I received six shrimp in garlic butter. When I received my bill, the homemade eggs noodles were $25, not $21 as reflected on the menu, and my six add on shrimp were $30 (full shrimp scampi meal with noodles is $23). I paid more for my add on shrimp than my entire meal!I complained to Kayla and she reached out to the manager who was willing to discount my bill $6. I asked to speak to the manager and he/she refused to talk to me. I can't say I've ever heard of a restaurant manager refusing to talk to a customer before. I wasn't flailing my arms, raising my voice, or acting like a jerk. I was just upset over my bill and wanted to discuss it. The manager relayed through Kayla that he/she spoke to the owner and they refused to discount my bill more than $6. Kayla's explanation was the menu prices went up.Comparatively, six add on shrimp at Ruth Chris is $17.50 and Chophouse's shrimp appetizer is $19.95. I'm expecting those prices because their meals are $50+. This is a strip mall restaurant!! I'll never go back or recommend this restaurant.

This place was amazing, the mussels were the best I’ve had
I am in love with Jeff the bartender for one very specific reason and you should be too. Expresso Martini. That’s it. That’s all you need to know.If we are going to talk about food, however, big fan of soup and salads here along with the crab appetizer. All of the entrees I’ve participated in were delightful. Service always friendly and innovative when needed. Atmosphere sets a good mood. 4 stars only because I’d like to see the specials vary a little more. This is another favorite spot!
never done a review. went with high expectations. expectations well exceeded. one of the best dining experiences. food was wonderful. service outstanding. 4 people, 4 different great meals. 4 different wines all well paired with the meals. soup outstanding. the appetizer of tuna outstanding. desert wonderful. my new # 1 restaurant. was told chef's name is Miguel. He is wonderful and does great work!!
I had such a wonderful first visit that I returned three days later when I was back in town. A friendly staff and a varied menu made this place my favorite restaurant in Grand Rapids.
