Stopped in on 6/16/22, around 6:00 PM. Only two people working the counter, they were very polite and provided excellent service to a full waiting area of people. Tacos were great! Renewed love and respect for Taco Boy. My only complaint is the waiting area is too small, but it's been like that for decades, don't imagine it will ever change.

Love their tacos and taco salads. Not authentic Mexican, however their food is really tasty and filling. Usually a line because they are popular and friendly to the wallet. Also love their wet burritos.
Rude people work there!! Was a customer for 40 + years and they ruined it over me asking them to remake a burrito!! The owners would be ashamed of the way I was treated.

I have been eating at Taco Boy since I was a kid. It's always been a favorite of mine and my family's. The food is really good and the prices are decent. A little pricier than Taco Bell but worth it for the step-up in quality. Not a fancy place by any means -- most of their biz is takeout but they do have a few tables. Probably not a good choice for a first date.
Food is good. Training new employees is hard for them. I have had recent orders missing food items purchased. I'm sure things will change in the near future.
A Grand Rapids local recommendation, and a new experience: In this Mexican food joint you will get no-nonsense great food. Small interior seating area, a few more seats outdoors. Everytime i drive by I see lines in and infront of the shop, and when you recognize how fast the staff serves the orders, you will understand how many people like the food. I got the “wet-burrito” and some tamales. While the sauce dripping, swimming burrito was a first for me, the tamales are quite standard. The portions are big, a lot of beef in the burrito. Overall great and different experience. Try it out if you are in the area, you will not regret it.
Great food there's nothing better excellent refried beans. Tacos don't fall apart either it's all good ?
