I always thought “Good to the last drop” was just an advertisement for Folgers Coffee- but after visiting RISE - our family has decided that this VEGAN, GLUTEN FREE bakery & coffee shop is so much more.It’s incredible to the last drop and last crumb. We were fighting over any remaining morsels of these incredibly DELICIOUS drinks, treats & eats.My personal favorites: Carmel Fratte (Onyx Espresso Concentrate, Date Carmel, Oatmilk, Coconut Cream & Coconut Sugar).This masterpiece of cold, creamy delight was worth every slurp! You’ll be wanting more. It was truly GREAT to the last drop. Only $8.50The gluten free donuts ? are so delightful, moist and super yummy. Only $3The prices are fairly reasonable- but in this time of inflation- nothing is very certain about prices.Regardless- we highly recommend trying RISE as a great way to start your day!
Bought for my fiance's father for father's day as he has some dietary restrictions. We were worried the desserts wouldn't be very good because they're completely vegan, but everything was delicious! Will definitely be going back soon! It was well worth the couple hour trip!
Rise is an amazing vegan and gluten free bakery!! Generally have a large variety everyday. I do want to stress it's a VEGAN and GLUTEN free bakery. I find their best items are the more original items vs a vegan version of a traditional baked good (like a brownie). They also have awesome coffee drinks!
We ordered their largest size cake for our daughter's grad party. Not one piece left! It was a hit! Great taste and very pretty!

My husband has alot of allergies and when I brought him here he asked "so what can I have?" When I told him he could have everything his whole face lit up. It also helps that everything tastes amazing! I'm so happy that a place like this exists.
The best allergy friendly place to eat in Grand Rapids! Vegan, gluten free, soy free, dairy free, etc.! They even have foods that are Refined sugar free! We have been there probably 100+ times. They keep us coming back every season with lots of menu variety! Perfect place for a treat.
Raspberry almond donut was nearly flavorless. Very disappointed.
I'm not vegan, soy free, or gluten free, but I love this bakery. The quality is always so high you can tell they really care about their products. I always look forward to seeing what new stuff they have in the case and I'm never disappointed!
Our baby loved her 1st birthday smash cake! We chose the vanilla cake with blueberry filling (paid extra for the filling). Mom and dad loved that it was “healthy” too. Obviously pricier than a grocery store cake, but we think the quality was worth it! We were very happy to support a local small business.
