Best Chinese food I’ve had since Wing On on Michigan st went out of business.I had Pepper Steak done to perfection. My friend had Sesame Chicken and said it was the best he’s ever had and his standards are pretty high.Crab Rangoon was very good but I usually prefer a thicker sweet and sour sauce. Very very good quality of homemade food. Not tasting by like a buffet but tasting fresh as fresh can be.Hot tea was good and the lemonade was fresh. My new favorite place.
First time I had this place my Beef Fried Rice came with yellow curry rice and it was bad, others had a more positive experience so I decided to try it again. This time I opted for Beef Lo Main and it was absolutely delicious probably one of the top 3 in GR area.So I guess I'll chalk up the 1st experience as a fluke and have Red Bowl more in the future.
I judge Chinese restaurants based on their sesame chicken. I tried that tonight while my boyfriend got the chicken and broccoli dinner. Some pieces of my chicken were good and has some crispiness, while other pieces were pretty pink and undercooked. White rice was good. His chicken was good but fried rice was not tasty at all. Also I ordered an egg roll, since the meals come with spring rolls, and I ended up getting jipped and got another spring roll ?.
First time customer. I placed an online order for pickup through their website directly. I ordered General Tao’s chicken with fried rice and crab rangoon for my combo. Special instructions: chicken fried extra crispy and extra sauce. I also added 1 egg roll. When I arrived there were at least 5 staff members at the front desk, however none of them greeted me or asked if I was picking up or needed to place an order. Although my container was filled to the brim, the “fried” rice was very pale yellow, mushy, flavorless rice with no vegetables. It literally tasted like white rice, but had a really light yellow color to it. My special request for the chicken to be fried extra crispy was not fulfilled and there were no vegetables in my chicken either. Bad customer service and terrible food.

I had the Dinner Combo (Beef with Vegetables) and it was so yummy. The combo includes fries rice and one vegan spring roll. The price is affordable. View to the crossroad is peaceful and calm. The portion is generous and worthy. Love it!
Finally! Found the perfect fried rice and dim sum. Wasn't initially hungry upon arrival, but we had to order the Singapore Mei Fun when we smelled the curry walking in. It was beyond incredible! I wish it was a little spicier, but it rocks. Next to the tasty food, you get the warmest, most polite service and feel right at home.
I am very picky when it comes to Chinese food and this is amazing! I am so happy with everything we got! I am always nervous to order from new places. Pull the trigger on this one!
Delicious Chinese food that will leave you feeling satisfied. Chinese food is usually too salty for me at many restaurants, but Red Bowl was a pleasant surprise! The Buddhas Delight dish was fantastic - very fresh and flavorful. I can’t wait to try the other vegan dishes they offer. My boyfriend had the Hunan chicken and really enjoyed it also. We also recommend the spring rolls!
Quick service and nice store space. Chicken was fried and tossed well (needed more broccoli). Red curry was very spicy, which was OK for us, but I know for many would not be enjoyable. Will go here again soon
