Was excited to try the food but as soon as I stepped foot into the bar with my sister I was instantly met with a nasty look from the bartender and her snobby friends sitting there who were also giving us a dirty look. No one else was in there but who seemed to be her friends and their boyfriends. I asked for a menu and she told me they didn't serve food. Wouldn't even try to go back because of how uncomfortable it was when we first opened the door.
It’s an American bar. With American style Guinness on tap and an Irish flag hanging haphazardly in the corner. If anyone can recommend an ACTUAL Irish bar, I’d be glad to hear it. Slán leat.
Best Irish pub in Grand Rapids. Great place for original live music.
I see another review says, “the bartender was rude and short” and I experienced that exact same thing. The drink was horrible. My wife and I didn’t even drink it. Was only in the establishment for all of 5 minutes. Left with our drinks still full, after paying, and not once did the bartender ask if everything was okay. Will never return here!

The Saturday bartender was awesome. There were some drunk girls (Adrienne and Samantha and friend) being loud and obnoxious and standing on chairs and he asked them to get down and they were upset bc he asked them to get down. Sorry to the bartender that was looking out for their safety!!! You could tell their boyfriends we’re highly embarrassed
Came on a Saturday afternoon and the bartender was short and rude. Basketball was playing on the tv so we asked where the jukebox was and if we could play music, we were directed to a karmon speaker to connect to and then we’re told to turn it down. Very disappointed considering there are only 5 people sitting at the bar.
Great place for Guiness and a shot of Irish whiskey. Several to pick from. You can order food from next door and have it delivered. Jackie the Bar keep is super nice! Many locals here and make you feel welcome. Will be coming back!
Highly recommend this wonderful pub. No frills, just good drinks at reasonable prices served by terrific bartenders/waitstaff!
