I loved the location. The building has character, beauty and the history has been well preserved. Like most restaurants post pandemic, they seemed short staffed (overworked, overwhelmed, and apologetic), but the service was great. Everyone was kind, and when able to be, attentive. The food was great as well.
Hannah was our outstanding server for a party of 5 outside. She was very attentive to making sure we were served, eaten, cashed out in time to make the Civic Play. She also ran to enter our drinks in the computer to make happy hour! That is above and beyond fantastic service. Food was 3 pizza that we all loved.
Celebrated our anniversary. They were out of three different dishes we tried to order and two of those were why we choose to come to the restaurant. Then the one I was able to order was a very tiny portion for $30. Before ordering we asked the server how big it was and she showed us a full plate size, but really it was lettuce that made the portion that big and just a small scoop of the crab and avocado clumped in the middle. The other meal didnât appear to have hardly any steak in the bowl and was mostly potatoes. Food was good but not what we planned or hoped to experience. The speciality drinks we ordered were very tasty. We sat outside which was nice, but the car headlights were in eyes for much of the dinner as people sat in their cars. Overall it was expensive and disappointing.
Beautiful place but lacking in many areas. The menu does not fit the facilities Aesthetic. Inside really is beautiful but the menu is more bar food. We had a new appetizer which was mushroom bruschetta. The bread was large sliced bread that was not toasted and lathered in a thick gravy with mushrooms. Our server was sadly the worst we ever had :( We were her only table (we were the only ones in the room) and she was no where to be seen. She did not check on us and it took her 15-20 mins to pick up bill when as asked for it. She also did not clear any of our dishes. Lastly, she asked if I wanted my cocktail on the rocks (Champaign drink) and I said that was okay. However, the drink was very warm? it was overall a poor experience. Could be great if food and service was better.
Stopped here on a whim and it was such a cute and unique spot! The food was awesome and definitely not overpriced for the value.
This is my new favorite restaurant! And I love that they accept reservations! Love the tacos, pizza, and coconut chicken and rice!
Celebrated my partnerâs birthday here and it was fabulous! Delicious food and great vibes. We also loved that we could treat ourselves without breaking the bank. Will definitely be coming back!
Went for date night, lots of fun seating options to choose from. Also some good food options. We had a fun relaxing time out on the patio
Great service, food and atmosphere.
The food was really good and we loved the character of the old house. The cocktails were delicious though the second round was made noticably different from the first. The service was on the slow side, but that seems like the new normal these days. Overall it was a good experience and we'll definitely be back.
