I'm for ambiance but the quality and taste of the the freshness of the food is my top tier and they hit the X on the spot for all 4 of us. We all loved about our food. Jake was a great server and at this moment in restaurant history it is at an all time LOW!!! He definitely stood out. Thanks for the great food and service can't wait to visit again.
Had a great meal ! Everything was cooked to perfection and I couldn’t have dreamed up a better meal ! Leftovers are even better to be honest! It was soooooo goooooood!
My food ticket was lost. I asked to be comped 50% of the ticket that was lost. I was denied. So when a chef messes up it's on the customer. I hope the food isn't as bad as the service.
That was by far the worst hibachi experience I have had. I searched for somewhere to take my 7 year old daughter for her first experience. The hostess and bartender were delightful. I had wine at the bar while we waited and got seated quickly and that is where the great service stopped. We both ordered the steak and an appetizer. The chef literally did none of the things. Nothing. He cooked. Didn’t speak. And left. All of the fun things she watched while we waited didn’t happen. Nothing. We, and the other guests, we very disappointed. I expressed my disappointment to many staff and no one cared. We should have walked out. Honestly. I am so disappointed
We were there Saturday evening with a table of 20 for our son's 16th birthday. The wait staff was great the chefs were horrible. There was zero interaction with any of us. With 20 people , we had 2 chefs because we were at two tables and both were not interactive with any of the guest at the table. We have gone to other Japanese Steak houses before and our chefs always interact, with the Saki or the lemonade in the squirt bottles, singing happy birthday, egg tricks or just showing off their talent. We were not offered any of this. Unfortunately we won't be back because of this experience.
Came in from out of town as was seated promptly but in a area where air con was pretty high so we were cold. Got moved to another table but table looked sticky and unclean. We ordered bento boxes and was underwhelmed by the how the chicken tasted. Did not tasted like it was marinated but just covered with sauce and quickly stir fried. Fried ice cream was underwhelming as well. Waitress was also overworked.
Whenever we come in or get take out, the food is always consistently good. We got a huge sushi tray and everything was spot on in both taste and texture. You can tell that the raw fish is very fresh and everything we had was well-made. One of our favorite sushi spots. Highly recommend!
Went to Osaka for the first time on the 9th. It was fantastic! We had a great waiter named Jake and a great chef. There were a lot of us. We had such a great time! It was a great Christmas gift from my late stepdad, Roger. Spending time with family is the best and spending it at Osaka was so fun. Service was great and the food was delicious!
I’ve tried many hibachi places around the area, but Osaka is the place that keeps me coming back for more. The food and the presentation is just so good. The steak hibachi is my go to and it pairs nicely with the yum yum sauce on fried rice. It is a bit pricy so I wouldn’t recommend going out regularly. Once in a while is nice enough for me and my cravings are always satisfied.
I find it absurd that when you eat in you are able to have as much yum yum sauce as possible. Last night I ordered out and I paid extra for rice because I didn't want the veggies or noodles. They handed me one tiny container of yum yum sauce that's half way filled. When I asked for a little more they said I had to pay for it. Mind you I just paid $62 for food and was given to tiny containers of yum yum sauce. It's not about the money but more so they're being very greedy when it comes to those who order out. Then when I tried paying with a card she got upset I didn't have cash because she had to swipe my card for $1.27. Please do better until then I'll continue supporting Sakura instead!
