I’ve talked with this owner many times before and he is always in the best mood despite anything he’s been going through, he’s a very hardworking individual and one of the best foods you can get in this strip mall. Always super professional and will drop food fresh for you if it’s been sitting too long. This food tastes real and authentic.
Cajun chicken was barely seasoned, but cooked well and was amazingly crispy. Tenders were very dry, definitely need to be dipped into some kinda sauce to alleviate the dryness. Biscuits were barely buttered and pretty bland. Deep fried corn was surprisingly good. I feel bad saying this, but I feel full and greasy... I wish there had been a lot more seasoning on the food and this would have been a very different review.I'll come back in a year and see if anything has changed because the owner was a nice guy and I hope he succeeds.

Owner is a great guy, glad I had the chance to talk with him. That being said there's nothing cajun or anything else really flavorful about the food. It's basic fried chicken. It is really juicy and tender (not the strips though, they're tough) fish is great too. Long story short, great basic fried chicken, skip the strips.

They should not be called New Orleans Crispy Chicken it should be called Michigan Bland Chicken no flavor at all. Biscuits looking like cookies.

Used to be goodHas been a while, tried it again today while in the area. I don't know what happened but was sub par.Only good part was the drumstick.the breast was a rubbery/chewy..flavor lacking from what I remembered.Didn't have corn bread anymore ?fried corn..not goodred beans and rice is container full of rice and about 8 red beans on top wit a bit of red sauce stirred in.Sadly cant recommend
Good food
Just ordered the 4 pc dark mix, coleslaw, red beans and rice, fried corn, and biscuit.The chicken in REALLY GOOD! Super crunchy and delicious. And the coleslaw was great, too - good crunch, nice and fresh, and not too sweet like some places make it.The other items were alright... not bad, just kind of take it or leave it.But I’ll be back for the chicken and slaw for sure.
