I love brunches, so I'm always happy when I get to find a new place with good coffee, and your classics eggs, bacon, and pancakes.Our waitress was very efficient and friendly, you can tell she was glad to be there.The restaurant itself is a bit rundown, but nothing that I found to be bad, it's a genuine vintage place after all :)Thanks for the good food!
I'd like to give this place 3.5 stars, but I'll round it up.Restaurant was clean. Service was average at best. Food was good except my toast was stale. Despite barely having any color it was drier than the desert, like it had been sitting in a low oven for an hour.
This is the perfect diner experience for breakfast-simple choices, served quickly, great service, friendly staff! Basically the kind of place you can roll out of bed, rub your eyes and get somebody to make you a decent breakfast for very little cash and very little trouble. They take good care of you here...and their bacon is the best in town! Coffee and sourdough needs improving, though!
New Beginnings is your classic Michigan diner for wholesome, affordable meals. Real food and real people with excellent and cheerful servers and staff. The BLT is always a good choice. It's perfect for a low-key Saturday morning.
I actually am ashamed to say that when I came here with my sister, I tried to talk her into leaving. It was not as clean as I like my restaurants to be. But then... the food. My omelet was so delicious. My sister loved her sandwich. Everything was tasty and seemed to be made from decent quality ingredients. I would eat that food out of a prison toilet bowl. So 5 stars.
Was craving their, biscuits and gravy, so terribly this morning ? -however I ended up ordering their, Country Fried Steak, American fries, Texas toast and the eggs w/the yolks that u can dip your bread into! & OMGGGG!!!!! (Srry, don't remember what their called, lol!!?)It was ABSOLUTELY, 100% the best breakfast I've had yet, hands down!!!Now their not open all day- this particular one is open until 3pm, their sign said. So if you're ever up early, want something spectacular, with great portion sizes (u will have left overs, I promise u!!!) this is EXACTLY the place to go!!! ?
Loved our server! I never had to ask for a coffee refill which in today's world is really something! I wish they would stock garlic salt at all their locations but you can't have it all. This was one of the better NB I've visited.
Nice place to eat a good meal, or visit with friends over coffee. Friendly staff, I eat breakfast here often, always good. Always clean. Third egg is free so added plus. Hamburgers are really good size and tasty. Reasonably priced. Lots of room so seating isn’t a problem.
