Got the meat sampler trio. Absolutely dry and flavorless. If you closed your eyes you couldn't tell which meat was what just by taste... cause they were all just bland and dry! I'd bet someone could put playdough on the plate and you would think the playdough tasted better than the meat. Each bite was so hard to swallow. Mac and Cheese had a sour taste to it... like it was expired or made with expired cheese. Corn bread was so dry it crumbled when you tried to take a bite and has no flavor. Only good thing was the fountain soda. Their gimmick of military, Firefighters, and first responders is all they have going for them. As someone who is in a big military family, I'm disappointed in mission bbq. I will not return, and will actually speak against it whenever I can. Don't waste your time or money. We wasted over $50 on two meals.

We like this place. Usually good food and great service. This last visit my husband ordered salmon and they said it would be a 10 minute wait for it to be ready. My husband chose to wait, but they forgot to bring it out. I went up to get it. Later a staff member came over to apologize and gave us a gift card! Good service is so rare lately, and we admire a business that appreciates their guests and wants them to return.

This place and it’s employees are a total class act. They are more than accommodating and everyone is always smiling. The food is great even my six year old loves it (and he’s a picky eater). The Memphis Belle BBQ Sauce is my favorite. I love this restaurant and what they stand for. If you want a restaurant with a good family atmosphere and a place you can celebrate how great our country is then this is the place. Thank you for being part of our community ❤️??

Was driving down the belt line looking for something different outside of the typical burger pizza steak places. Happened to just look over and saw Misson BBQ. Boy was our craving for something different satisfied here!! Not only was the food just great. The staff was amazing as well. My 6 year old son is not big on trying new things so he ordered just corn bread. The amazing staff gave him some free samples of brisket pulled pork and cheesy potatoes. He tried everything and liked it all! You guys are doing such an amazing job. Keep up the great work and the amazing food!! Will defiantly visit again and will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends!!

We had Brisket and Pulled Chicken, A+. I had Mac and Cheese, my wife had Cheesy Potatoes, both were very good. The corn bread is warm and moist and had great flavor. Staff was friendly, and they have a cool selection of bottled pop. The only negative was the sauces. I didn't really like any of them.

Had my grandson's birthday dinner here. (Was his choice after one prior visit a few weeks prior.)Our server was WONDERFUL. He was very attentive, upbeat and courteous. (Wish more places had employees like this guy....)Food was great. My grandson loves the French fries. Next time I try more sides.

Ribs are solid, sauces are good. However, if you've got the slightest bit of discomfort when it comes to uniforms, definitely skip it. The fetishism of public servants and soldiers is a defining characteristic of the experience. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate first responders and whatnot, but I also feel like we can do better as a society when it comes to law enforcement, so the hyperbolic "everyday heroes" thing doesn't sit entirely well with me (unlike the ribs that 100% sat well, because these folks are cool enough to publish allergen information on their site so you can pick a menu item that isn't going to leave you miserable). It's a barbecue joint with an aggressively political bent, so this kind of review is inevitable, honestly.

I will say that this is my third time eating here and second review. Third time is a charm! First time eating here was good, second time not so good, but third time pulled chicken and pulled pork was moist and tender with good flavor... the chicken you could easily eat without sauce on it. Management reached out to me after my first review (second visit) which was unexpected and he seemed to like my prior critique and by my visit today he made the improvements we talked about. I will and do recommend Mission BBQ to all!!!

This place is set in the classic bbq and Five Guys type style of walk in order and pay the sit and wait for your name to be called. The atmosphere from there is set in homage to First Responders and the Military. I ordered the the 3 meat platter ($16), plus the XXL Combo ($5). I got Brisket, Pulled Pork, and jalapeno and cheese Sausage. All were very good and tender. Nothing was dry. It also came with cornbread that was yummy. For the XXl combo I got baked beans and the monthly special Sweet baked potato with cinnamon butter and lastly a Lemonade. The sides were very good, most bbq place either have good meat or good sides. It's really nice to find a place with both. The lemonade was excellent. My only negative was the bbq sauce was only okay. They all tasted similar and very thin. The person I was with got Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Turkey. She really liked it. She loved the cornbread so much she got 2 more pieces. She also got a blueberry cobbler that she said was excellent. The counter service was very good. Very friendly and did a good job. Overall a 4 1/2 star review. Excellent bbq, but still probably only #4 in the Area, maybe #3. Since I need to round it'll get a 4. Would I return? Yes I would!

The food was pretty decent and the staff was friendly. However, the value and portion size was meager at best. This place had a very American atmosphere.
