Owner doesn’t pay his employees

The owner doesn’t know how to make a latte. He also didn’t compensate the artist he had paint the mural in his failed chocolate and ice cream place on bridge st. As a local business owner you should be ashamed.

My wife is a coffee snob and she is soooo in love with the smoked coffee, no bitterness at all

As a traveling hairstylist I appreciate finding gems ? like these. Thanks for warming me up before a day of work hanging with Cheeky Strut.

Have not been to this location, but I am a frequent visitor to their location in the Meijer's in Grandville, near Rivertown Mall, and I keep coming back for one thing: That coffee. It's some of the best coffee money can buy IMHO. Their tamales are great too, made by a local lady and brought in every morning. I have never had a bad experience with the employees. They also have lavender syrup to do a London Fog right!

This is one of my favourite coffee spots in GR. The staff is always friendly. Their drinks are always delicious. I recently got a spicy oatmilk mocha!

Toady Dec 7th, 2021I work third shift, but decided I wanted to have a warm breakfast. So I found my way to Mayan Buzz Cafe. I got there just before opening. I have ordered from here before, but its usually been a order ahead. This was actually my first time actually going in, and I was treated with all kinds of respect. Grace was opening, and taking my order. I went in for a couple of Denver Sandwiches, and she asked if I wanted anything else, coffee, or tea or drink. Being my first time in I wasn't sure what to drink so I left it to her. She gave me a coffee drink called Coquito. She after giving it to me, gave facts about the drink. Gotta say I wish I had a warm 32 oz cup more. Another thing thing that stood out was how was her letting me know the selection I could have for my sandwich a croissant, or a flavored bagel. Service I never got on phone. You gotta appreciate a employee who generates, sales and knows their stuff. I spent more then I wanted, but it will all be worth it. I have been having health issues lately, but Grace just listened, was friends, and just let me ramble on without hesitation. I don't know if I could have stayed as focused as she was. Service was fast, and friendly. So if you get a chance, and are in the Downtown area they are open 7 a.m to 7p.m. Highly Suggest a visit. An if you are even as closely pleased as I am with them. Tell a friend, and by all means. Stop by again, and show some appreciation for a staff dedicated to keeping a job. An maybe help a small business out l, and post a google review to help someone out. Maybe if you have a little money left after buying something and leaving a cash tip. Maybe buy a little something for a downtown homeless person. A cup of coffee on a pre-paid goes a long ways in this cold weather season.

The place is homely, can go there and just chill out with a nice cup of whatever you feel! I personally don't enjoy coffee, but Hot Chocolate, all about it! I enjoyed a cup of their White chocolate Hot chocolate, never knew such a thing existed. But I will definitely be going back for it~ ?

Mayan buzz is one of those coffee shops that just... It has a wonderful vibe, great general culture, and is a fairly comfortable space. I don't go often enough, and that fact alone tells me I enjoy it.

Awesome customer service! The guy with the stache is very friendly and he makes you feel welcome…. Oh yeah, Riley is his name.
