I love places like this if you love good coffee / espresso this is definitely the place to go. They know what they're doing although it may be on the pricier side I think that's just because of the location the espresso is worth it staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about how to make it for me this is a must stop place if I'm in Grand rapids. You won't see me walking away without buying some for home thank you for a delicious cup of coffee to wake me up in the morning can't wait to come back.

Long waits on a Sunday morning but that's to be expected. Lattes were good, pastries were awesome. Service was good

Iced Americano and Nitro Cold brew are me and my boyfriend favorites.

Cool, small, hipster coffee shop. A little pricey, nice atmosphere, very encouraging for everyone to wear masks but not enforcing it.

Nice place & space, great coffee, good service - but the rap music was way too grating and loud to truly enjoy a fine cuppa on a winter’s day.

Always great, friendly staff! The atmosphere is unique which always brings me back! Love stopping in for a quick coffee; alone or with a few pals:)

My wife and I searched to find the best coffee shop in the Grand Rapids area, and I think we found it(prove me wrong). Loved the atmosphere of the shop, the varietals of coffee and the seasonal drinks. Came back for more a couple days later, had a couple of drips, a seasonal and a cappuccino. Enjoyed the coffee very much!

Amazing coffee! We had lattes (chai and regular). So smooth! The staff were so friendly and efficient. We had a relaxing morning sipping our drinks and reading our books. Wish we lived in GR so we could visit this place every day!

AMAZING coffee, incredibly friendly staff, very cool vibe!

Stopped my Madcap during the ArtWalk (for which its location is absolutely perfect for people-watching). We'd been tooling around for a couple of hours and all in our party agreed that a corner spot with outdoor seating was just the break we needed. The caffé latte was just perfect - the sweet spot between weak and bitter - and especially appreciated by the elderly imbiber. We shared two pour-overs: the local area code-inspired Six One Six and the Santa Lucia (described as a brighter varietal). Both were delightfully drinkable; robust and full-bodied without any hint of bitter, heavy-handed roasting. A win black and with a touch of cream. Our fourth, appreciated the large plastic cups for the filtered water. So thank you for that as well, Madcap. It was a very worthwhile fly-by, to be repeated.
