I have been going here for years. This is really one of the best places for delicious and healthy Mediterranean food in the area. They have a large menu with a huge variety of options. Vegan options are plentiful but also a huge variety for anyone. Sometimes I just get a great fattoush salad and add a chicken breast on top. When I am hungrier lamb shwarma with grilled veggies. But I have never had anything bad here. Don't forget bread with the garlic.
Absolutely loved Le Kabob! Complementary fresh bread and garlic spread had me rolling out to my car ? Everything was great and made even better by the incredible hospitality from the waiter, Avias! This place makes me wish I lived 45 mins closer to Grand Rapids.I highly recommend the Hummus, Beef Shawarma Sandwich Roll, Baklava, and Arabic Coffee!11/10 would recommend to anyone and will definitely make the trip back to Grand Rapids, just for Le Kabob!
The food at La Kabob drew us several years ago and we have been regulars since. At our most recent visit we noticed that prices have increased dramatically. I know prices have been going up all over but this seemed to be an exceptional increase. We will not stop going here occasionally, but certainly not as frequently as in the past.
AVOID this place. I try and stay loyal to restaurants but this place always changes their prices on me depending on who works. I always tip 3.00 on two sandwiches, but literally my price is always different. When I ask to substitute the pickle for cucumber, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Sometimes I call and sometimes I get put on hold for 5 min at a time without even being asked to be put on hold. I'm done, today was the last straw. Sandwiches are always thin anyway. I'm sad about this place. Mediterranean food is awesome, but not here, not when every time is different
This place was busy as heck, but still didn't wait long to be seated for two. Coming from the East side of the state, I have a particularly high expectation of Mediterranean cuisine. Le Kabob checked all the boxes, some twice. The service and food here put me in my happy place.Victor (name on receipt) was our server and he made our experience absolutely excellent despite being slammed busy. So far, the best waiter I've had in Grand Rapids ?Prices on the menu might give you a tiny bit of sticker shock, but you WILL have at least a meal to bring home. For the quality and quantity of food, the prices are more than reasonable.Overall, 10/10 will return and recommendGreat job, Le Kebob!
This place never disappoints. Always fast service, and delicious fresh whole food. They serve generous servings so we always share. The offer fresh pressed juices that are so refreshing. I recommend any of the sampler platters if it’s your first time going.
Always incredible food. They use healthy ingredients, everything is well prepared, pita is made through the day. And the best garlic sauce I have ever had. The servers do a fantastic job.
Nice choice of Mediterranean food items, we had a full dinner with bread, lentil soup, lamb meat pie, appetizer, falafels, stuffed grape leaves, with sauteed vegetables and rice. It was enough to take home a hearty take away plate
Stopped here yesterday for lunch. It is fantastic! To start I love the interior, the chandeliers are really cool and so are the paintings on the wall. You get complimentary bread with garlic sauce, which is a first for me and a great free appetizer! The grape leaves are the biggest I've ever seen, they're more like grape fingers, and the fried kibbeh is delightful! My entree was the lunch special shish kafta, which is a good deal as you get either a soup or salad with it for $13. The lamb chili is what I got. It's amazing, and smells wonderful! The shish kafta is so good and filling! The rice is awesome too. Four of us ate with drinks and two appetizers for $86. Amazing value for how much food you get!
Food was very good. Quick lunch for a healthy sit-down. Definitely a popular place, I saw a lot of takeouts being picked up. Staff was helpful and quite pleasant.
