Absolutely amazing! I fell in love with bulgogi rice bowl! It was perfect no complains at all and I’m usually a picky eater .it looked beautiful i didn’t want to eat it but I did before taking a photo of it
I have been here only a handful of times with this last time being a little odd. My boyfriend and I came in a little before 2 o’clock on a Sunday and waited until about 2:15 to be helped, which wasn’t a big deal they were obviously a little understaffed. But what was concerning was the gentleman who helped us. He wasn’t very polite and basically told us our order had to be ‘to go’ because they were closing. Which was strange because I knew they closed at 3 and the restaurant was not busy. So again strange there was almost a full hour for us to sit and eat but we got no explanation. So we finally sit down and the same guy comes and asks me two separate times if I wanted my coffee iced and I tell him yes, yet he still brings me a hot one. The last two times I have been to KAFFINE they did the same exact thing. But then we get into how disappointing the iced drinks are. It was a delicious latte but didnt really get to enjoy because there were HUGE ice cubes and an excessive amount. When I say I took 3 sips and it was gone, I’m not joking felt like a complete rip off. The only thing I really can’t complain about is the exceptional food. Everything I’ve had on the menu has been so fresh and well prepared. Shout out the nice lady cooks in the back!!
I absolutely love Kaffeine! I’d give it 6 stars if I could. I recommend it to anyone who listens to me. There isn't a single bad dish on the menu, the cafe itself is beautiful, the owner and her staff are beyond amazing. You can’t go wrong here :)
Owner is incredibly rude to all of the residents within the building. She has deterred almost everyone from supporting her business. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Horrible food, horrible service and the owner likes to harass tenants that live in the building.
Do you know those restaurants where the first time you eat there it’s delicious so the next week you switch it up and try a different dish and that is also great. So the next week you’re inspired and you keep going back and trying different meals and all of them are so tasty. That is Kaffeine, and they also have good coffee too.
Read the previous reviews about the owner being rude and I simply could not sit here without saying anything! The owner is one of the kindest people you will meet! She interacts with her costumers, making sure they are enjoying their food and feel comfortable. As a frequent costumer, the only time I have seen her dog is when she is closing down the cafe. She also always ask me if I enjoyed the food and tells me to have a nice day :)
My personal favorite coffee shop. Great options & food is top notch. You can tell it’s all super fresh and well prepared. Friendly staff and cool environment. Highly recommend.
This place is a Must-try! I have been to many cafes in LA, Portland, and Seattle; this cafe is one of the best that I have tried. Modern, clean, spacious, and chic ambiance with surprisingly great coffee and food. A perfect place to stop by for just a cup of coffee, to have breakfast/brunch, or to hang out with friends for lunch with an amazing Korean-American food.Their flavored lattes and avocado toast were delicious; I could tell that they use fresh ingredients. Korean food items were flavorful and very impressive, and I know a thing or two about Korean food from living in LA for a long time.Staff and owner/chef were courteous, welcoming, and accommodating. Hope they open for longer hours, but the sign says they adjusted their hours due to short staff. I will definitely be back and more!
Wow. So so good. I was a little apprehensive at my total (I ordered a breakfast sandwich, a salad to bring to work for lunch, and a latte) but it was worth every cent. Delicious, fresh, healthy and unique. I will definitely be back. Everyone was so calm and kind there as well. Beautiful space, amazing food and coffee!
