The food was good, the drinks were OK, but the wait was super long. We got there at 4:45.

I had bone in wings (no breading) with buffalo sauce. They were nice meaty wings, no complaints. My wife had a double burger (gluten free bun). She said it was awesome!The fries are beer battered with a great seasoning. They smelled great, but the batter has gluten, so we had to pass on those.Staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend to friends.
I've always love Hopcat but I've never been to Grand Rapids, it was an excellent place to check out! The elote queso dip was cheesy and rich, with nice fresh chips! My friend got their turkey wrap with seasoned fries and it did not disappoint! I ordered the mac 'n cheese with grilled chicken and was pleasantly surprised by the velvety smooth sauce and perfectly seasoned chicken! They were pretty packed when we arrived, but with open seating at the bar we got our food and drinks quickly!

We always enjoy visiting HopCat. The variety of brews is outstanding and the menu offers a wide variety of choices. If you are in downtown Grand Rapids this should be one of your stops!
Long wait due to Shinedown concert but service was excellent and the food was FANTASTIC!
This place would be just that much more amazing if it wasn’t surrounded by some of the best breweries on the planet… but it is still AMAZING! So many good brews under one roof and a knowledgeable staff to help you navigate the menu! Oh, and they have some pretty good food too! You should have some of it before you attack the beer menu!
A bit pricy and always crowded, Hopcat is a traditional Grand Rapids stop. Seating is first come first serve, and I wouldn’t put it past having a 2 hour wait if you’re arriving at a peak time. With an extensive tap list and a lot of unique twists to their food, it’s not a place you’ll want to miss. Especially the Cosmik fries! Their fries are so good, it begs the question why they don’t have a Cosmik Menu. They could put that batter and seasoning on anything and it would be fantastic.
