Server was attentive and friendly.Food was delicious.We appreciated the large selection to choose from on the menu.Only hiccup was that one of the bread to the pork bun was still partial frozen when I got it but it was not a deal breaker for me. We were all so full to care at that point. We plan to come back soon!
The wife and I are new to Grand Rapids, and decided to go out for a sushi date night. When considering going to a proper sushi restaurant, one generally is aware of the higher cost, and expects to obviously spend more than your local burger joint. The sushi we ate was not only a food, but a craft. An art form, complimented thoroughly with outstanding flavor, presentation and service. Everything I thought I knew about sushi went out the door at this meal. The food was definitely priced appropriately and comparative to other sushi restaurants in the area. I would 100% recommend this restaurant and will be a returning customer. I can not recommend this restaurant more
Ginza Sushi & Ramen Bar is AMAZINGLY GOOD!! My Brother and I went for the first time a couple nights ago and they’ve got some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! I got the ‘Dynamite Roll’ which was a fried roll and it was still warm when they served it. Our server was so nice to us and even though it was her 2nd day on the job, she had great suggestions for what Ramen to get! Overall a super great atmospheric Ramen Bar with great tasting sushi, I’ll for sure be back soon
My family and I have been to many sushi restaurants in the Grand Rapids area looking for a place comparable to NYC. As a sushi/sashimi lover I've been looking for a place to get good sushi and I think I've found the place. Spicy tuna was excellent. Sushi overall was very good and surprisingly they had Unni and we tried it. It was very flavoful and fresh.Not to mention, their curry ramen was delicious as well. We will definitely be back again. Thank Ginza for a great meal!
I would have given 3 stars, but in fairness I decided on 4. I’m not a fan of Asian food, but decided to try Ginza Sushi & Ramen Bar, although I’ve had the instant ramen before and liked it. The waitress recommended a ramen bowl and Chicken Katsu, so I ordered it without any hot spices. I found the ramen to be very bland, and the chicken the same. Maybe it needed the spices. The waitress was great, can’t blame her for my reluctance to try it spicy. Lots of people were there so you know that it’s got to be good, guess I’ll stick with the microwave ones.
Great variety of cuisine. The food was wonderful and the wait staff very attentive. I will definitely be back!
Black Dragon sushi roll and Red Curry Ramen were both excellent. Service was very good.
This was my first time at Ginza. The sushi selection was extensive. We ordered avocado salad, edamame appetizer, and 3 kinds of rolls (Pink Lady, Golden, and Rainbow). Every dish was delicious, fresh, beautifully presented, and well portioned. I will be back to try the Ramen. Several people around us had it and it looked amazing! The staff was efficient and polite. Not chatty, but the vibe there is sort of lounge chic, so it was entirely appropriate and professional. This restaurant is also extremely clean. Pricing was appropriate as well. $15-25 a person depending on drinks and apps. I will absolutely go back!
