Absolutely excellent! My 10 year old says 10 out of 10! We had LoMein, fried rice, steamed dumplings, crab cheese (rangoons), and hot and spicy soup. The service was excellent t the facility and bathrooms were spotless. Outside seating and a bar available too. In Gaslight Village. Curbside 2 hr free parking. We will be back, for sure! I want to bring my fiancé because he is more adventurous with Asian cuisine. He will love it!
Giving it 4 stars because the veggie Lo-Mein my wife got was not appetizing at all. Pretty oily and heavy (not the best combo for the outdoor summer heat), and wasn't tasty. My General Chicken with fried rice was pretty good so had that going.Interior is pretty calming (all white, easy on the eyes, no loud music). All in all a good experience
This is a wonderful find if you are looking for Chinese/Asian cuisine! If you look closely at the menu you will find Thai, Vietnamese, and Singaporean options also. The atmosphere is comfortable with outdoor seating available. I took my daughter here after a movie and we had a great dinner. The Singapore Noodles and Curry were both delicious. The food and service were both wonderful!
I feel asleep on the bus headed home, missing my stop. I woke up and discovered I missed my stop wanted to get back to Boston Street, but with a 40 minute wait for the next bus, I decided to try out a new Restaurant and today I ended up here. I tried out a Chinese beer import I'd never had before called "TsingTao" and it was a great compliment to my Kung Pao dish. I reached for my wallet to discover it wasn't there(left on the bus) but luckily I had a card in my front pocket which saved the day. I ended up returning to the bus I lost my wallet on and the driver returned my wallet. So happy for honest people! To close this comment, id recommend this place to dine - good food ?*see my photos (the only thing I was disappointed about was that they didn't serve brown rice)
Little hole in the wall Japanese restaurant with a full bar, pretty neat.In a beautiful area of this town. The wife and I came on the off-chance we might get some Pho, but they only had one offering.really most everything else was Asian fusion all good. We had these items on the picture and they were pretty good although there was some MSG that got into the wife's food she doesn't like it.And the service here was a little bit slow at first and somewhat confusing, I'm not sure they completely understood what we wanted.otherwise the food was pretty good the facilities are clean.
I love their soups so much, especially with the winters we have. The lettuce wraps and dumplings are wonderful appetizers and they put care into every dish/drink they make. My bf had pepper beef and Mongolian beef and they're both delicious
We have frequented this restaurant for the last several months on a weekly dine in basis. I am not sufficiently skilled at defining the delicious entrees of this East Grand Rapids establishment. What I can point out is the cleanliness, skilled/friendly staff, unbelievable delicious egg drop soup and the beautiful presentation and taste of our prepared meal. Love the hot tea served almost before you have a chance to scan the menu.
food is swimming in cheap oil. Price of food on online menu is not up-to-date. Bill was way higher than what I expected. Taste of food very poor. will not recommend
I have been told I have a problem with how much I like Chinese…. Every time I am in a city I have to try as many Chinese places as I can…..this place is my new top spot. Above any place I’ve tried in Grand Rapids, Lansing, Saginaw, Jackson… great service, great atmosphere, everything is fresh, you get what you pay for. Hunan shrimp was phenomenal, sesame chicken delicious, crab rangoons weren’t sweet so they were perfect, egg drop soup had shrimp peas mushrooms in it and made it both unique and delicious
Amazing food! Singapore noodles were the best I’ve had in the area. My 5 & 6 year old split the orange chicken dinner and still had leftovers, so the portion sizes are great for the price. The only thing I’d say is please consider adding veggie egg rolls, or spring rolls for us who don’t eat meat.Either way we will be back soon!
