Probably the best buffet in the GR area! I've lived all over the GR Metro area for the past 10 years and been to most of the buffets, but no matter how far I have to drive I always end up coming back here! There is a huge variety of food compared to others in the area, the quality of the food is always amazing, hot and tasty, and an incredible value to boot. There are three buffet restaurants closer to my current residence than the Fuji buffet, but I will make the drive every time because the food, service, and prices are just that good! No one else compares. The interior is always kept nice and clean and has a very elegant and traditional design. The seating is comfy, the staff is attentive, and there's plenty of space for the lunch rush. Altogether an incredibly comfortable and satisfying dining experience. 10/10, can't wait to come back again!

After a stressful week of a huge moving sale and an even bigger move from Southwest Florida to North Michigan...I was ready for a night out and a nice relaxing dinner with my wife. Wasnt even in Michigan for one hour. So we found this restaurant on google. It was very close to where we were at that time, so we decided to try it. From the moment we walked in, the hostess rubbed us the wrong way. She was extremely irritated, short spoken, and apparently doesnt like her job. Add that to the cold overcooked food, and the fact that when I walked back to our table after our trip to the buffet and hibachi grill....I realized that my purse was missing from the chair it was sitting on. And the worse part was when I asked them to roll back their surveillance camera, they accused my WIFE of hiding it in her pocket and using it to pay for our dinner!!! HOW DARE YOU HAGATHA!!!

We came for the basic buffet. The web site said it would be $9.99 with 50 cents off for seniors, plus free drink. When we got there, it was $10.79, with 30 cents off for seniors, plus free drink. I told hostess about that and she just said, "yeah, the web site is old"... I got all of my choices and went to eat and found that almost all of them were lukewarm at best. I mentioned it to one of the waiters, and he couldn't understand me, so he got the head waiter, and he apologized and showed me over to the little microwave, which was a bit dirty inside, but workable. The soup was already very hot, and then my meal was too, after that. (I might not have stirred everything to find warmer food underneath). Anyway, he was very nice. They had a huge variety of foods to try. I didn't see any seaweed, which I love to eat on the side, and asked the lady behind the sushi counter, if they had seaweed, and she just said"no". My main reason for coming there was to try their sushi. I was fairly disappointed, as the sushi was fairly flat tasting and mushy, with large chunks of cucumber in most varieties. Overall, I would say "average", and not much of a senior discount. It is a bit of a drive from our home, so probably won't be back. I can make sushi better at home.

This is our first time here and it will be our last. Upon entering the place just stunk of fish. we had some people with a table already. We go to sit down and this little older women who wielded here was frantically asking how many people we had. She told us this is for 8 people and wanted us to sit at a smaller table. I tried to explain to her that my wife needed extra room to put her foot up from time to time due to an injury she had. This women still was trying to get us to sit at a smaller table. I said to her the tables were too small and they are not that busy and had plenty of other seats available for large parties. We ended up just sitting down Because we needed the space. The server never asked us for anything to drink and and when we did ask she rudely asked how many. When she came back she threw the straws down and walked away.As for the food. To be honest. The food is sub par. It’s not even worth it. The food selection isn’t that great. The noodles they chose to use for lo mean looked like fettuccine noodles. They also used these same noodles for the hibachi as well. As for the sushi just don’t. Most of it is old and dried out. Also definitely don’t even think about picking up the deep fried one just gross. Not fresh and just sitting there so when you go to eat it it’s just extremely nasty.Back to the server not once did she care to ask us for a refill on our waters or refill them when they were empty. One of the worst buffets I’ve been to.Behold there was a positive. They had some good music playing.

Sadly, upon entering, we were greeted abruptly by a woman that had us follow her to a table in a very large room off to the side, and we soon saw that the floor was quite filthy, and the tables were too close together, and, it was too noisy in that room as well. We were not comfortable, but we tried to make the best of it. We walked into the next room where the food buffet was displayed, and the seating seemed to be of nicer origin as to where we were seated. The buffet was filled with various food selections, and the items that we placed on our plates, appeared to be good. However; there was not a very good selection of vegetables. We returned to our table, and began to eat our food after saying grace. We both felt that some of the food was not up to our liking. We left more food on our plates than we cared to, and we we're just anxious to leave. So, we proceeded to the check out desk, as no dinner check was given to us. We we're handed our dinner check at the counter, and we paid for our dinners and left. It is very doubtful that we will return. Our advice to this restaurant owner/staff, is to do a thorough cleaning of your floors and windows, and in your seating areas; put more space between your tables. Some of the food was tough and grizzly. Sorry, not trying to be mean, just presenting our less than favorable dining experience. We wish for you an improvement. ?

The food was decent. Now onto the rest. The food that was available was decent, but you had to time your visit just right to not have empty trays.Me and my husband were charged for a water and the dinner buffet was $16+. It is not worth that. The waitress took away two plates, never checked on us, and then literally pointed out where we should tip when we got the bill.No thanks. We’ll keep our money, you keep the comments you made to your pals, and we’ll never see each other again.

i honestly didn’t want to leave a star. i’ve ate here a few times with my mother and each time i’m upset. they’re very dirty, messy and don’t come to your table at all.. the food is always needed to be replaced with new and it’s always old. today was the straw with this metal in my SAUCE!

Pretty decent place to eat. Always a great selection to choose from.

The food was basic. Customer service was sour. Immediately when we walked in, an older lady who took our drink order had a whole negative/demanding attitude. I recommend that if you have any taller children or children with disabilities to not bring them into this restaurant. They will assume that your child is older than they really are. They will try questioning the child down to get an answer they want. Told multiple times that they can't do that because the child is on the spectrum and doesn't 100% comprehend conversations. They will try to get the child alone and still interrogate them. Also, funny they charged the child's older cousin as a child and them as an adult, just because the older cousin is very tiny in size. Mind you they were still both children. This is a reminder if you have a tall child and you don't want to be charged as an adult you may have to bring a birth certificate of some kind to prove your case.

The waitress I had was so good at her job that I never had to ask for anything. Made my experience perfect. My 2 year old feel asleep before I got there so she did her job quickly, quietly, and efficiently. Food tasted great. Everything looked amazing. I went around 2 or 3pm.
