Oh ma gash. So freaking good. Thin smash burger patties with lacy edges, shoestring fries, amazing chili dogs -oh my! The cheese curds were pretty decent, but a bit pricy. I highly recommend the jalepeno fry sauce and seasoning packets -they’re NOT hot, but have good flavor. My hands down fav was the cheese fries! It was over $30 for 2 combos and some curds, so I’m not how often we’ll return, if not for the prices, we’d be there a lot more often! Side note: the large fries didn’t seem much bigger than a regular order -so you may want to skip the up-charge.
Best prices for a family or people on a tight budget. The staff here are not overly friendly, but courtesy. We usually dine in the last few times we have been here we have notice that the dining room lacks attention. Tables and floors dirty. An what looks like a dirty old towel under the pop machine there to catch a leak. We haven't gone back for a couple weeks got me thinking how sanitary are they in the kitchen? I have brought this to the attention of the staff and even a young lady that I was told was a manager. Especially these days you want to know that cleanliness and food safety is top priority at a restaurant. I hope this reaches someone in charge it be a shame if this issue wasn't addressed.
JUST PUT THE FRY SAUCE IN THE BAG, DUDE!I don’t get it. The fry sauce is the cornerstone of the Freddy’s experience, and to eat my fries without is truly a disservice to myself and the excellent food the nice people have prepared for me. I like the food and the people who take my order are generally pleasant but why can’t I enjoy my meal with the titular sauce?? It’s not even like I expect them to read my mind or anything; my brother in Christ, you ASK me if I want the sauce! When I tell you yes, I drive away to find none in the bag! This has to be rectified.
I love Freddy’s #2 Double Bacon Cheeseburgers and fries combo! But the Freddy’s on Lake Michigan Drive in Grand Rapids was over the top GOOD! The fries were hot and crisp and the burger was awesome! Freddy’s is the ULTIMATE COMFORT FOOD!
This is what 4 dollars worth of chili cheese fries gets you...save your money. This place officially deterred me from ever wanting to eat at a fast food restaurant ever again.
Tasty cheese burger and crispy fries! Amazing list of toppings and blend ins for the frozen custard which have several different portion and types of desserts. They also have both shakes and malts. Love malts! Give it a try.
I'm very disappointed as this place has really good food. I went threw drive threw tonight and watched as an employee was shoving frys in his mouth out of fry bin. He did this repeatedly. Then with the same gloves on that he was just shoving food in his mouth and grabbing frys out of bin with he grabbed my frys from same place and put in my bag. Very unsanitary thing to do. I had to throw my frys away ? not happy
I think I may have stopped near closing but that's not any excuse for the double cheeseburger I received. I had them add ketchup to the burger, which was a mistake. It was everywhere and made the sandwich impossible to eat. I will never go back to that location again. Maybe you will have better luck on your visit. I absolutely love ❤ Freddy's double cheeseburgers.
Wednesday ( 12/22/21) for lunch. The customer service was great. It was my first time eating there and I don't know what to order but Samantha recommend the Double California and it was amazing.
Should call it mustard burger 12 noon I'm the only car in the drive up Should have been a sign. Burger only could taste a blast of mustard over seasoned fries so happy I had a bottle of water with me. Yes I tossed it in the garbage. And I thought McDonald's was bad.
