Excellent food and service. Nothing has changed in the 35 years I have been going except the building. Meatballs are the best!
Pretty good food, I had the Grilled Chicken sub with onion rings....this is only half of each in the picture, I was too hungry to take a pic first. Not super fancy but still delicious. Great cheesecake too! The cannolis were just average, my daughter had fettuccine Alfredo and it was just average, but her friend had the manicotti and it was pretty awesome.
I haven't been to Fred's since the 1990's. Back then we loved it. And now with the newer addition it is very inviting. There is a big bar with a lot of seating around it. And there are tables and some booths. They pizza has always been good. As well as the subs. We had two 10 inch pizzas. The Mexican and the ham, bacon and pineapple. It was my husband's fist time there. He loved the pizza and now he wants to bring our friends there. The staff was nice and did their jobs well. The bathrooms are clean and they have a good size parking lot. There is also a patio for outside dining.
One star for polite, efficient service. Pizza was horrible. We ordered the Vegetarian with extra sauce. Crust was dry and chewy. Sauce had no flavor and the mushrooms were canned! Beware, it’s also over $3 for pop.

The customer service for our take out order was horrible, but the food was ok. We ordered a large Chicken alfredo pizza which was fairly good. The order of fried pickles and bread sticks we got were very plain and bland. When we went in to pick up the order the man who worked there got upset, very rude and even rolled his eyes when no tip was given. I understand about getting tips, but he did not need to get upset and rude with us that's bad customer service. Very unprofessional.
Great mom and pop kind of place. They really put some money into the decor of this place. It's not perfect as some of the lights cast a shadow on some of the projection screens. The place appeared clean.I'm pretty sure there was one server, one bartender, one cook, and the owner working. Because of that, half the tables had their chairs put up on them. While it's understandable why they might do something like that, it really kills the mood when half the restaurant is shut down in the middle of the evening.Even though they were understaffed, the wait times were great and we never needed anything. Our server didn't verbally check on us much but I'm sure she visually did. We got our food within 10 minutes of ordering.The food was just meh. Under seasoned and microwaved. Even microwaved food can taste decent with proper seasoning.The drinks were super weak. I'm not sure I wasn't just given a glass of Sprite.I believe this place would be really good if they were properly staffed and put a bit more work into their dishes. Remember, at a restaurant, the food is the most important aspect.
Always love Fred's. A local, delicious icon. Perfect, authentic Italian flavors and wonder ful cheeses. All 3 of or entries were perfect. Great service as well. Love the new decor!
Great place to eat!!! Been going here to eat for years and it’s been one of my favorites!!! The people that work there are some of the friendliest around and the menu is amazing!! Great service great seating great prices!!!
The meal was an embarrassment to our community.Soggy bad tasting pizza sandwich.Overdone deep fried mushrooms.Bagged deep fried onion rings.Chips & cheese; chips were like eating wood.Blue cheese dressing was Gordon's blend of mayo, vinegar & ranch dressing.On the bright side:Clean restaurant, clean tables, inviting environment, friendly wait staff, quick service.
