We love this place! The fried perch & fries combo was “as good as any I ate in New England” according to my husband, and we just moved here after living there 15 yrs! My olive cheese burger was outstanding. Also very friendly staff. We will be back!
We were at Fat Mans today, Party of 6, all from out of town! One fellow grew up in the area and said he had been coming since 1961 and highly recommended it! HE WAS RIGHT!!! Excellent fish/seafood, we all had something different and shared. I had the oysters and my wife had Frog legs!! Both big, meaty, and tasty.WOW...WOW... We'll be back! Excellent food, staff, and service!
I live right down the road. It's all I can do not to eat there every day. Their food is fantastic and I love the garlic vinegar they put on the food when asking for it. I haven't tried their fried chicken yet. That's next. The staff is very cool. I wasn't sure about the difference between ocean and lake perch. The told me the difference and suggested if I am not very sure, for me to buy the cheaper ocean perch and see if I like it. I did and I thank them for not taking advantage of me when they easily could have.
They have anything fried you can think of and all the fish you can think of! The staff were down to earth cool and friendly. Excellent service! Place is run down but they do good work! Dont let the building fool you
My sister and her family ordered a family meal combo, paid over 75 bucks for all the food just to come home and have none of the meat in the order except for some perch. Her boyfriend went back after dropping off the food they did put in the bags and the guys working wanted to argue and state he got all his food. Was supposed to be chicken thighs and legs and shrimp in the order. He came back home with a bag they gave him and all he got was some shrimp and some wings. They still didn't give him all the food he paid for. Needless to say we wont be coming back again. They RIP you off and then argue when you try and get the full meal that you pay for.

Loved the customer service. Everyone was friendly and establishment is clean. We got ocean perch, gator, frog legs, clam strips, and okra. Everything was fried perfectly and I over did it! They definitely give you plenty
LOVE Fat Man's!!! So many choices in prepared fish meals as well as a wide variety of fish to buy fresh. So, so good!!!
The most amazing assortment of fish and seafood is fried to perfection. And the sauce is better than any I have had before. The staff is helpful and kind.
Spent 60 dollars there. Didn't get the garlic vinegar on our fish or did I get extra hot and extra garlic on the gizzard. Pretty sad. They weren't even busy.
