Visit here every week with a few friends. Great place to enjoy my coffee and observe my toddler as he makes friends and plays with others. Love coming here.
Today (April 14th) I was extremely disappointed with one of the staff members at the cafe. Two ladies were working, and the shorter one went against all the core values of Everplay Cafe. She was bossing kids around, seemed annoyed by them making a mess with the toys, and I could go on….One of the kids appeared to be cranky, emotional and super fussy where the mom was having a hard time keeping him under control, and this particular employee took it upon herself to not only yell at this little boy, but also mock him. I could see the stress and disbelief in the moms eyes, almost as if she wanted to say something but couldn’t. At that point I just wanted to give her a hug, but I just got up and left with my girls. We won’t be coming back with for awhile.
I brought my two little girls here today around 09:30am. We walked in and we were not greeted at all. Instead of saying "Hello, welcome", I received this type of "greeting" from one of the waitresses:"Are you meeting someone here? No? Well, we are at capacity, bye" And she walked away promptly. I totally understand the "at capacity" thing. But as a small business, kindness is a priority to thrive. She should have said, Hello welcome, I hate to inform you this, but we are at capacity right now. And then maybe welcome me back later! But no. I got a very rude waitress and I will not be going back, and I will also inform my friends who had this place on their bucket list as well. Very disappointed as this was my first visit and it left a very sour taste in my mouth.
Today was our first time visiting, and my 18 month old loved it so much! Such a great atmosphere with so many great things for the kids. We are making this one of our regular stops for sure!
We went to everplay for the first time this week and it was such a great experience. My son had tons of fun playing and I felt very relaxed with him playing with the other kids. My friend and I both agreed that this needs to be a staple for us! I’m not really a coffee drinker, but tried the flavored steamed milk and it was delicious! Can’t wait for our next visit!
Super disappointed they are not limiting amount of people in a place where not every person has the option to be vaccinated against covid. The minimum to create a safe environment for this vulnerable population is everyone the appropriate ages to be wearing masks.Cool place but definitely a covid hot spot as there are ZERO mitigation efforts.Waste of a 20 min drive
Should’ve left a review a long time ago but Everplay is an absolute staple in my routine with my toddler. We come weekly and absolutely love it.
Cute, clean place with lots of toys for kids. The barista was super friendly and made sure everything ran smoothly for a birthday party we attended. Super neat idea for a cafe!
First time at Everplay with the grandkids. It was incredibly quiet, which was actually nice. It was nice to have a small space for the kids to play while I sat and sipped an Americano! I could see both kids from where I sat at all times.At around 12:15 however, it got BUSY! 10-12 kids showed up and it was loud and crowded. Thankful that we had been there for 2 hours making it easy to leave.The only thing I noticed that was not great were the bathrooms. They were actually dirty. NOW, when parents let their 2-3 year olds go alone and then don't check, it makes sense that toilets aren't flushed and the sink is full of soap,but the whole thing was dirty.Maybe a fluke. I hope so!!!
This is a GREAT spot. The barista here makes the best latte, and kids literally have so much fun. You can come to read a book or get work done (if your kid is old enough to play without constant monitoring). You can even rent the entire place for a few hours for a birthday party. It’s truly a gem. I love this place!
