Daddy Pete's prepared a whole roasted pig for a wedding party for our son. It was terrific. The sides were great. The owners, Cory and his wife were wonderful. Corey is a pit master and broke down the pig at the party. It was lots of fun. Throughout the process he responded quickly and helped us with the planning. Very OK overall. The pulled pork is very good. Ribbies tasty but next time I would get the full ribs. Baked beans are too sweet for me. Mac and Cheese is flavorful but mushy. The green beans are rather plain.
Delicious comfort food, we were all extremely happy with our food, the best bbq had in a while. I was so beyond excited that they had a plant based menu and I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. 10 out of 10 recommend. They have awards for a reason ?
We ordered off the weekend Vegan Menu: burger, brat, side of mac n cheese. EVERYTHING was delicious! Highly recommend. Customer service was also great!
This place is a treasure. I’m vegetarian, so went for the vegan options. The impossible burger is not only the best vegan burger I’ve had, but is probably the best burger I’ve had period. The mac and cheese was unique and also very good. Even the pickles were fantastic. To top it off, the service was top notch. Fantastic. New favorite restaurant. Seriously, it’s that good.
Daddy Pete's BBQ is off the Hook on fire....I'm OTR driver so get to eat different places and every time I go to Grand Rapids, MI he has a customer that will b stopping to eat & take with on the road, the mac & cheese one of the best and the Brisket, Ribs fall apart....
Extremely good lean meats. The cornbread must be very good since my son scarfs it all. Only the coleslaw wasn't to my personal taste. Get plenty of food with the orders.
Great brisket. You can see (and smell!) them smoking from the parking lot. Nice folks.
