Just picked up 2 beautiful kobe sirloin that I was so excited about until the man working the counter grabbed them from the case with his bare hands and then proceeded to handle my debit card without washing his hands. Other than that huge flaw, the food looks really good.
Great meats but the employee touched raw meat with no gloves then checked us out without washing his hands, gross
I Got a dry aged burger for 18$ definitely didn't have 18$ quality. Burger was flat and dry. Tasted and looked like the frozen burger patties that someone would buy from the frozen section at the grocery store. When it said dry aged I didn't think it ment literally.
One star for the service. The person who took my payment didn’t give me my exact change back and acted like nothing happened. I get people don’t want to speak up over a few cents, but I won’t be returning as a result.
Amazing Cuban and fries meal! The flavor was beyond my expectations.
Today my husband and I had lunch here for the first time. The menu was awesome. The guy at the counter was very nice. The food was absolutely delicious. We’ll be back.
Hubby and I stopped and ordered Italian beef and a cuban to take home and enjoy. Not to happen. My italian beef had no veggies (which I could deal with) but it was COVERED with jalapenos!!! Juice had permeated the entire sandwich. I can't eat jalapenos but was ready to get at that steak, pepper, and pickled yellow pepper sandwich I know and love. Couldn't eat it.? Hubby wasn't happy with his either, though not inedible. Such a dissappointment.
I hadn't been to Carver's before and wanted a hearty sandwich for lunch. I ordered the Feature, which was a Pastrami Sandwich. It came with Fries and I asked the guy taking my order if I could have a substitute, as I don't eat potatoes due to the carbs. He said that for an upcharge of $2.70, I could have coleslaw. It had a very light dressing and the taste was very good. The sandwich was excellent. The bread was grilled perfectly, the Pastrami was hot and after I added Mustard, it was the best sandwich I had had in a long time. I polished the whole thing off and it was so filling that I didn't eat dinner that night.
I was standing behind a young lady at carvers today and, while she was ordering I overheard her make a comment about another restaurants pricing. the young man (he was wearing a hat also has a mustache) taking her order then scoffs and rolls his eyes saying “no one is forcing you to eat here” (when she was not talking to him) then proceeds to go to the kitchen to trash talk the young lady (while she is still ordering). this type of behavior is unbelievably unprofessional & just plain rude. after overhearing this interaction, I took my business elsewhere. I even overheard him continue to make comments when she came to pick up her order. I highly advise everyone seeing this to avoid carvers, until they learn to get their employees in check. entitled, arrogant, and rude. Good food but horrible customer service.
I got the steak sandwich, and it was divine! The Kobe beef was tender and juicy and paired perfectly with the mushroom+onions, provolone, and horsey sauce. The fries were delicious as well. They were seasoned well and stayed crispy to the the last one! This meal was definitely worth its price.
