Chicken tasted very good. The cost was $12.99, plus $1.00 to fry it. When I asked "why", I was told that it cost $1.00 to fry the food no matter how you pay for it, cash, or card. So the cost for 10 pieces is actually $13.99 plus tax. The young lady at the register as well as the manager, was very polite
I thought checkers had the best 'fast food' frys. Nope. Captin Jay's are waaaayyyy better. It is possible there is sugar on them.. either way, the crisp ???.Personally I didnt like the cheese in the jalapeños bites.. but other than that, it was very good. Very fine sugar like substance on the outside.My oldest had wings, and he said thet were amazing. His friend said he is coming back. And its over an hour drive from us...So yes..try it.
I ordered 1/2 pound of ocean perch got 2 small pieces i am not a racist person i was working near so stopped for lunch guess they didn't want me coming back to bad because the fish was good but not the amount i ordered

My experience there has always been ok ,but the TRUTH be TOLD, they need MORE ADULTS to handle things and they would make ao MUCH MORE MONEY..yesterday it was a 3TO 4 HOUR wait ,and If there were MORE people knew qhat they were DOING things would have Ran a lot more SMOOTHLY. I went home and ROOK A NAP ,and then came back and had to wait atheist 10/ 15 more minutes im.not JOKIN , but I LOVE YOU GIYS ,KUAT DO BETTER...
Been waiting for my food for over 20 minutes only to find out they forgot about our order and had to wait again. No one came to apologize and then some black lady caught an attitude because the worker offered us something for waiting and then caught a whole attitude for trying to accommodate us ~ want get my service again
I appreciated the bargain, the portion size and the staff was very friendly. The food however left a bit to be desired. Everything I ordered was severely over cooked. The chicken and fries weren't golden brown more of a deep dark brown. Fries were so over there was just a solid hard crunch no fluffy potato left inside. Oddly the Hush puppies were over done on the outside and under on the inside. Also I don't know what the white powder they sprinkle on everything is but it made everything a bit salty for my taste. When I go again which I most likely will. I probably will ask them to go a little easier on the fry time and forgo the powder. I definitely think it has potential to be better. Now if they came up with some nice sauces and tossed their wings in them I'd definitely be back ASAP. Enjoy a nice buffalo wing.
Dont listen to these people complaining about the smell of the business, the seasoning they put on the chicken is smacking and aint no other spot got the same taste trust me i tried like 4 other spots listen to me this fried chicken is the truth. If you dont like it you must love that bs kfc hormone chicken wit no real seasoning. Im telling ya the truth!!!
