Cakabakery is the best! They catered cookies and caramel corn for my wedding in Grand Rapids and they did not disappoint! The owner is so kind and the workers are so helpful! We had more than enough cookies for my wedding guests and I didn’t even get a cookie because people loved them so much they ate them up! I can’t wait for my next trip to GR to stop in and try the flavor of the day. Thank you again, I highly recommend!!!
Jason and Cakabakery are fabulous to work with. We ordered our wedding cake (which turned into our honeymoon cake!) and cake pops for 150 guests, and every pop was eaten by the end of the night! We couldn’t be more grateful for the attention to detail that Cakabakery provided when taking my requests. I will be ordering from Cakabakery again!
We ordered our wedding cake here, and it was absolutely beautiful and just as we had hoped! It was exactly the little bit of rainbow we wanted for our LGBTQ+ wedding. I also try to stop at the Cakabakery any time I am in town, because their cookies and cupcakes are to DIE for. Truly the best cookies I've ever eaten!
Passed by here often and finally stopped. Glad I did, had a coffee and a S’mores cookie and they were great. Definitely worth checking out as lots of variety in baked goods.
We went with The Cakabakery for our wedding cakes and couldn't be happier! We had to postpone out a year, and they were very flexibile and accomidating! They have such a wide range of flavors, ALL delicious, and gluten free options. We did a small cutting cake for us that was lemon with raspberry frosting, which they customized for us so that it the frosting wouldn't be pink but white instead. They also customized our cake decor beautifully from our inspiration photo. We also did red velvet, strawberry champage, and gluten free chocolate sheet cakes for our guests. You really can't go wrong with them!
My fiance and I were looking to do a cake tasting for our wedding. When we inquired, we were told we could come in for some sample cupcakes as they're not doing in house cake tastings. We both liked the texture of the sponge and the buttercream and wanted to try specific flavors they had on their website.

It is also such a fun local business that makes you feel so involved in the community.Most recently during the ordering process of my latest custom cake we had a few miscommunication hiccups. But I have to say that the team quickly handled everything with the best customer service experience I’d could have imagined. Everything was resolved without any issues.I wanted to highlight this and leave a review because it is in moments like this that you truly see how well a business is managed and how much they truly care for their customers. And they proved they deserve my business for many more cakes to come =)
The Cakabakery absolutely delivered on our cake for the wedding. We asked for a small cake with The Office as the theme. It was SO much more than we ever expected. I cried when I picked it up because you hope they had the same vision as you. Their vision was perfection. They were so great to work with and I will be back for ALL my events. Thank you!!
Mmmm! My now-husband and I had a cake tasting at Cakabakery for our wedding, and it didn't disappoint! We had an appointment on a Saturday, and it was relaxing and enjoyable. We were given four choices to try (see cupcake photo), and we were left to try them, discuss them in private, and then dove into the specifics shortly after we had our fill (it was nice not feeling rushed or being watched as we enjoyed our cupcakes). Our wedding cake was a hit and designed just how I had envisioned. Thank you for the tasty cake and satisfactory customer service, Cakabakery!
Based off some of the pictures that I saw online, I decided to contact this bakery to create a cake for my niece's baby shower. Although I was a little bit leery that they could not provide me a sketch or a mock up I was so impressed with the pictures that I saw that I decided to go ahead, place my order and make a down payment which was half. When I went to go and pick up my niece's cake I was thoroughly impressed and I am a customer for life. Not only will I be a customer for life but the cake was delicious. This coming from a person who doesn't indulge in a lot of sweets.
