We came by this amazing little eatery by chance after my boyfriend was at a local tea shop and the owner was talking about it. We love to dine out but have been very disappointed lately in quality of food, value of price to quality and certainly of customer service. Mamo was NOT that way at all! Impeccable wait staff, friendly and kind. Amazing food and incredible atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back!

The food itself was great. I’m glad there are more brunch options in the NE side as breakfast is my favorite food. For the biscuits and gravy you probably need to shell out the extra $4 for the sausage. It’s clear the chefs put a lot of effort into making the order.Unfortunately, I don’t think I’d feel comfortable going back here to eat for a long while.

Cafe Mamo is an awesome spot for a date or smaller group of friends. Very cool decor and interior design bring a great mood to the meals. The menu is very reasonably priced. Since the menu rotates seasonally, I believe, it has a rather small selection of entrees (only 4 when we went) which I love because it means the chefs will nail it!Will 100% be coming back in a few months, if not sooner

Perfection in a cute little package!Cafe Mamo offers exceptional food, delicious cocktails, extensive wine list, attentive service, and adorable ambiance. Dinner is a tad pricey, but you get what you pay for. It's a wonderful addition to Creston and the GR restaurant scene.

A very special place in the Creston Neighborhood. French cafe style with a focus on locally sourcing the best meat and veggies. The wine list is also amazing! They also have a brunch on the weekends that often gives back to different non-profits. Overall great food with great heart!

Amazing experience… very much recommend

A wonderful Valentine’s dinner experience. Amazing service & even better food. Whoever made the 12 layer chocolate cake deserves a raise.

Wow is this place amazing. Small, intimate, and simple but elevated food that just delights. They have ruined all other roasted chicken for me.

Good god. This place. We went in last weekend for Sunday brunch and I’ll preface my review by saying it was a gamble because it was my husbands birthday and in principal Cafe Mamo is everything he vehemently opposes in a restaurant. Tight parking, tiny dining room with communal banquette seating so close you can hear strangers chew, a curated menu with 5 things, the possibility of a gaping disparity in the price to portion ratio, and vibes. But alas, I trusted the reviews and my friends and we went and from the moment we walked in I knew it was the right choice. So cozy, intimate, yet comfortable, and everything from the napkins to the dinner plates is just understated and charming. Like a cliche conventional married couple we ordered the same gdamn thing - biscuits and gravy and eggs over medium and they were ridiculous. The dish was heaping and plentiful and the biscuits had these little flavor pockets of pepper and salt. I was literally destroying my fresh mani tips running my fingers in the gravy when it was all over and DID NOT CARE who saw. Our server was so friendly and warm, and we had such a good time that after the bill came we stayed so I could tack on a child-free day buzz and ordered the aculpoco (sp). Even the ice cubes are beautiful and memorable here. Anyways, highly recommend. This is the best place we’ve been to in awhile, and we can’t wait to be back to check out their dinners.

We had a fantastic dinner tonight in the Ski Shack! Food was delicious and creative. Wine list was perfect. We haven't been out to dinner much since the pandemic began and we felt so safe and welcomed at cafe mamo. They went above and beyond for our kids as well, including providing our 4 year old son with sparkling grape juice to toast the new year. This place is a neighborhood gem! Highly recommend!
