We literally drive here from Chicago just to order the bone marrow at Brewery Vivant! It's always phenomenal everytime we order it. Perfectly seasoned with the right amount of salt to pair nicely with a pale ale. And amazingly juicy! You can take the bread and literally soak it in the bone marrow juices before devouring it. And the portion is larger than any bone marrow dish we've ever had in Chicago. Definitely give it a try when you visit!

Still a true and legit brewery experience, as always. *Everything* is excellent. Props.

A Google search led us to this brewery mainly because the building (an old church/funeral home) looked interesting. So glad we decided to visit - both the food and beer were great! The staff was super friendly and patient, explaining the beers to us. Ambiance was fantastic - fairly empty around noon on a Friday, but starting to fill up as the day went on. It looks like it would be a fun place to sit outside when the weather is nice. As we were browsing the merchandise for purchase, they offered us free glasses from the bar - a cool souvenir to remember our weekend trip to Grand Rapids.

The duck poutine was incredible and the salad I got had no right being as delicious as it was - what an outstanding vinaigrette. The real star, however, was the chocolate board. Quite possibly the most delectable dessert I've ever had. I'm glad I finally made it here for a night night out with my husband.

Very unique brewery. In a reformed church. Felt alittle sacrilegious but then again we do take a sip of wine in church. It’s a cool setting. The charcuterie board had some tasty treats on there felt like there could’ve been alittle more on there but it was good. The beer was tasty. Enjoyed our visit.

I really enjoyed my experience! They have a great system where you put up a card to signal to any staff member that you need assistance. It gives you privacy and immediate attention when needed. The food and beer was unique and delicious. The atmosphere was very welcoming and comforting. I would definitely recommend!

Great service and great beer, but food was mediocre at best. Risotto was overly sweet and the blue cheese did not compliment the dish. The bone marrow was too salty and sub par. Escargot was good, but tasted like they used canola oil instead of butter and the chartreuse board was lack luster.

Everyone and their brother told us we HAVE to come here and try their duck nachos. Well we finally made it in, and I have to be honest the food wasn't good.In my opinion Long Road Distillery has better duck nachos! Brewery's tasted like the duck had been boiling in a crock pot all day. It wasn't fresh, but instead it was wet and gross. My husband didn't mind the duck, but his gripe was with the sauce (or cheese) that was on it.We also ordered a burger and the poutine. I had to take the coddled egg completely off the poutine. It was way too undercooked in my opinion. And the gravy.. the only way I could describe it was like someone had bottled the taste of a dark, damp basement and created a sauce from that smell- if that's even possible?? It tasted "old" if that makes sense? Like 100+ years basement smell-old.I only ate the fries that hadn't touched the gravy or the raw egg.My husband's burger on the other hand, was literally the only good thing we ate. He shared a couple of bites with me, and it was good. Both of us said that we might come back again, and just order burgers and that's it. But we both said we also would be fine if we never tried it again..The ambiance of the place, and the hard cider are the only reason I even gave it 3 stars. I don't get the hype about this place and honestly think people just say you have to go there because the building is cool. We weren't impressed, and probably wouldn't return. There are better burgers elsewhere, and better duck nachos at Long Road Distillery.

Dude the food and drinks are SOOOOO GOOD. Duck Nachos...AMAZING! Bone Marrow? FANTASTIC!!! literally anything? AWESOME!!! The seating is family style with a cool round bar it's a unique place to visit I highly recommend it. Yes it is pricey but my honest opinion with food is you pay for what you get so I think it's worth it ?
