OH MY GOODNESS YUM! Yes, you will for sure like this place! It will become a new favorite! They’ve been around for twenty years and there’s a reason they survived when others closed in the last few years! Truly wonderful service and delicious food. The pillowy soft fresh baked bread is amazing. The meat is so flavorful and tender. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and welcoming. I noticed people from at least five different ethnicities dining here (which I love). It’s the type of food that everyone can enjoy. They worked with my diet restrictions easily and accommodated graciously.Restrooms are clean.Going back asap! This place is now our new favorite restaurant!
Wow! So glad I discovered Bosna Express and would consider it a hidden gem in Grand Rapids for sure. The atmosphere is unassuming and cozy, but the food is as high quality as you can find anywhere at very fair prices. Looking forward to many repeat visits and sampling some more of the unique options offered on the menu.
We got the original gyro… it was very good but the bread was a lot. I prefer the wrap style gyro. The fries were the best I’ve ever had though! Don’t change the fries! Also the waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable.
This place has some pretty good gyros. It was fairly affordable and I'd return just for the food. The service was not so great. We arrived way before close and they were putting chairs up, mopping, and cleaning. This made us feel rushed and left little staff presence. There's a single song on repeat that plays in the restaurant that got kinda annoying. We tried to pay our check with our card, but the waitress was so busy cleaning, she never came to get it. We ended up waiting until after close to pay in cash so that we could leave.
Seriously great food! Establishment is very clean as well. We enjoyed our experience here and would definitely recommend for anyone to try.
It's hard to find unique and charming restaurants in Grand Rapids, especially if you are a forgener and want to eat something else than hamburgers. This place reminded me of home in Poland. The food was super fresh and delicious. Our waitress was super friendly. I was just wondering why there weren't more people there because I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend to anyone that likes Mediterranean cuisine. It was lovely and yummy. Definitely will return! They also have a selection of European beers which I enjoyed a lot.
Very fresh and very tasty. You might wait a little bit longer but it's good because you know they are actually using fresh ingredients instead of frozen. Decor and ambience kinda resembles late 80s eastern Europe but the wait stuff is charming and attentive. Would recommend!
Literally the best food such a good price! Always come back every time. I highly recommend
We really enjoyed this little hidden gem. The food is like going to another country. We got the feta fried shrooms as an appetizer and split the grill platter. The kajmak that comes with the platter was a delightful dipping sauce we never had before. Prices are reasonable and service was friendly. We tried some baklava and found it about the best we'd ever had. Our waitress said her grandmother made it.Delightful piano show tune music made the atmosphere feel elegant. We were a little disappointed that our appetizer came at the same time as our dinner and both took over half an hour.
Good tasty food from the old country. If you have the time, the coffee made the way it should be is a nice treat. We had the potatoes with cheese on them, and the cheese is a blend of some really good tasting mixes. Still plenty of beer choices , but not as many take home dishes as they used to have. Did I mention baklava, yes they have it, and they know a thing or two about making it. It's worth a try if you haven't had foods from that region before. We have never left disappointed
