Really, really, long wait for coffee. Which wasn’t really worth it. The prices aren’t bad, and they use actual syrup rather than essential oils or some BS, so I’ll give them that. Seems to be a hot spot for college students. Like that it’s 24 hours so that’s a bonus. Good place if it’s late and you want better coffee than McDonald’s. Probably wouldn’t come here to get a coffee during the day with all the other local options in GR.
If you come in thinking you're going to get fast service then you won't enjoy this place.If you're looking for a place to work on homework and be around people then this is the place for you. I really enjoy it.
I visited the Bitter End Coffee House in Grand Rapids, MI, with members of the Kalamazoo Go Club. The West Michigan Go Club meets here every Sunday, so we had the pleasant opportunity to play with new people. Warm and cozy place with a friendly atmosphere. Baristas get the coffee exactly how you like it. Useful parking lot across the road. I liked the big red coffee mugs.
I really enjoy your coffee but miss the guy that worked PMs. He was very entertaining. I'll get to know the new people. We love your place!

i wouldn’t really call this place a coffee shop. It’s more like an all night, rotating library with various drinks that are sub-par. I’m sure you’ll find something you like whether it be a Red Bull espresso shot thing, a latte, a bubble tea, a smoothie, a regular tea, a shake, a frozen coffee, and so many others. Yes it’s cheap and you can get some studying done but the product isn’t worth it for me. Also they don’t really clean and apparently their cold brew is just hot coffee they put in the fridge ?? Like what
I called to order ahead tonight(Saturday) @ 10:15pm and she says the do not do pick ups at the Bitter End. We go in at 10:45pm and the women that works there says they closed at 10 with another customer still sitting down. Really disappointed for the fact that I have been going here my whole life.
There's a first for everything. How have I missed this spot for so many years? Thanks to friends and a good nose for coffee. Will not miss again. Don't forget your Rocket fuel and Blueberry Muffin. Definitely will make a trip back for the house blend.
Seems to be a great place for students to come study while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. Employees were very nice and welcoming. I really enjoyed the coffee here.
