The best freaking breakfast we have had in forever. We are so glad we happen to pick this place. Our server was wonderful, such a sweet girl, and the food was to die for. The place is small and quaint and so so cute. If you are staying in Grand Rapids you have to get breakfast here! I promise you won’t regret it!
The banana foster French toast was Heavenly. Enjoyed the cheesy tater tots and perfectly crisp bacon. Friendly, great service. Highly recommend this restaurant. Feels like a vacation destination but close to home.
I have visited this restaurant when they've been busy, when they've been slow, and during their last open hour when I had just enough time to slowly enjoy my food and finish just before they needed to start closing. No matter the time and situation, I have always been greeted with friendly, attentive service and a wide selection of delicious food at reasonable prices for the quality (and quantity). And the atmosphere of the place is very clean, inviting, and homey; I always love looking about at the fun decor while I'm waiting for my food. I highly recommend giving breakfast at Anna's House a try at least once in your life.
Anna’s is usually a great experience for this celiac. However, the Reuben sandwich I got today was anything but. These sandwiches are supposed to be buttered and grilled and mine was served up on dry toast. The corned beef was tasty but it lacked the flavor it should have had.
I ordered the Hangover Omelette and it was quite delicious. The portions of sausage, bacon, and ham were generous and the eggs were cooked well. The atmosphere felt airy and friendly; this was reinforced by the staff, who were kind and accommodating.
I visited once with friends for breakfast. The abundance of waitresses cause a bit of confusion when we were greeted, seated, and served by different eager young women. The food was excellent, the company was entertaining, and the atmosphere was homey with a bit of rustic. The place was clearly a favorite of the local families, as the tables were filled with young and old alike. The bustle of waitresses and patrons were mildly entertaining, but also just a bit irritating. I still gave a good tip, though not as generous as I would normally have given.
Very friendly staff. Great food, with wonderful options for those with special dietary needs. There are very few places my daughter and granddaughter can go and actually get what they want to eat, since they need to be gluten, dairy, and soy free. Anna's house can accommodate all their needs wonderfully!
I’ve been to this location several times and have always had a good experience. Visited yesterday - service was great, and the food was even better! The candied pecan & banana French toast was so good and filling. The leftovers even warmed up well. Being able to get on the waitlist from their website before arriving is a huge help
I had the chicken and waffles and I got a thigh that seemed red and under cooked. The waffle was dry and flavor less, nothing out of this world. I also had a vanilla iced latte, the latte was good but the serving size was really big, to much milk and coffee. The omelettes are pretty good and would recommend those. The service was nice and friendly and tried to accommodate my plate when I said I disliked the chicken. I would visit again just wouldn’t recommend the chicken and waffles.
Food was terrible. Sausage gravy was way too salty. Onions on top of fried potatoes looked like someone vomited and the fried potatoes tasted like they sat in water for hours after boiling. The cheese in the omelette was dry and looked like someone melted plastic. Service was good though
