Tons on tap, great service, cool atmosphere, good food! What more can ya ask for? It was our first time there and we’ll be back.
It was ok but everything I got was mostly cold, the wait was way longer than anyone should wait for a grilled cheese, and not worth how much you’ll spend on it. I wasn’t going to do a review until I found a piece of chicken in my tomato soup, kinda gross and not careful of some people’s veg lifestyles. Please do better.
Went with a bigger group and had to be split up. Most of our party got their food and were ready to leave before we got our food (over an hour to get our food). The waitress was great and made things right. When we did get our food, everything was great. Good burgers, pizza, pickle app and the Chimay beer was fantastic. The parking was a little tough in this area. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. Staff was all very friendly and attentive. Not a great first impression, but I'm sure our visit wasn't the norm. I'll certainly be back when I'm in town.
Super wide variety on tap. Good service when I came. Parking is a bit limited. Inside if the building is cool with a modern/industrial feel. Menu wasn’t huge but had a wide range of offerings including vegetarian, soups, and salads. I had the double smash burger and shoestring fries which were simple and very good. They also have a wide selection of spirits. Definitely a must for any beer enthusiast.
7 Monks Taproom of Grand Rapids is a great place to head over to with friends to catch up over a drink. Service is usually fast and friendly. It's in Grand Rapids yet not too far into the city if you are looking to avoid some of the business that the city may bring. Clean and nice overall.
First time dining here and it was great. Good pizza and beer. It was an all round good experience. I will definitely be going back, probably more than I should..lol...but I really enjoyed it.
7 Monks has one of the best looking bars in Grand Rapids. All the taps, combined with the huge eagle mural, make for great photos. The drinks and food are excellent. The service always seems to be well no matter who is working. They also have an event area, well suited for business or personal parties. Great spot!
We had a welcome party here the night before our wedding, and we had an absolute blast! My friends and family loved the local beer selection. It was the perfect place for us to be able to gather with our people before our big day. This place is great for any private party!
My family and I were drawn in by a holiday promotion, and decided to come check it out. Our food and drinks were great! Tons of drinks to choose from, and my family enjoyed them.Service was lacking, for sure. My only reason for subtracting a star. When ordering our food and drinks, we barely received a head nod in response. This went on most of the night.The highlight of our night was meeting Santa! Really great guy! We took pictures with him, and he was hilarious.
