We asked for a table in the street, and had to wait for a few mins. The service was pretty good. They had a decent beer list. The food was excellent, with the fries maybe bring the best we ever had.
Great location in the heart of downtown Grand Haven. We sat inside, but they appear to have a nice outdoor patio as well. We had the whitefish dip and it’s a must try. So good! Our server did an awesome job and we will definitely return on our next visit to Grand Haven.
Good food, great atmosphere, fabulous service. They have dining setup on the street and we were able to eat with our dogs leashed at the table with us. Our waitress, Marley brought dog water & later a refill without being asked! Other reviews suggested we could eat at on the patio at Snug Harbor with the dogs, but not anymore. It sounds like people let their dogs off leash and ruined that as an option. We were so happy to have such a great option with our dogs. The photo is of my lettuce wraps.
We were visiting the area and wanted a high end meal. The Kirby House is very nice and has several options depending on the type of food you want. We ate in the Grill Room. We discovered they had just removed their rosemary chicken dish from the menu, but they made it for us upon request. We also enjoyed some delicious cocktails.
Great lunch on the patio! I had the spice mahi tacos! They were delicious and seasoned so well. Server was great and quick. Very family friendly patio as well.
Had diner on the terrace. The music was incredibly loud. You actually could not carry on a normal conversation. Food was the worst I’ve had in a long time. Burger was burnt. Fries were coated with some ultra salty / sugary mixture. We had been there before and it used to be significantly better. This place has some real amateurs in the kitchen. Avoid. PS: Waitress was nice

One of the best restaurant in Grand Haven Downtown. Chicken Chilli was delicious, highly recommended it. Salmon dish wasn't the best , Salmon was overcooked . But Steak and Rosemary fries was perfect.Kids had so much fun with writing their name on walls ? Prices are fair .
Wholly unimpressed with the food and dining experience. My party sat with menus for almost 15 minutes before someone took drink orders. My bloody mary was missing components (supposed to come with cheese and I had none). When meals arrived, no one was satisfied with the food. I got the "wet burrito" and it and it was a mess. There was an ungodly amount of cheese and some sort of odd, sweet sauce. It was...strange. Edible, but strange. I will not be returning and wouldn't recommend it.
Great food, excellent service and wonderful ambiance! Glad to have it open again!!
