Get seated in Lauren’s section! She’s awesome. She was really nice to our family and attended to us really professionally. Her name tape says trainee but she definitely knows how to be a great waitress. Food was great and prices very reasonable. They didn’t seem to raise them any during the inflation hike as we’ve eaten here every few months when we visit.
Amazing food for reasonable prices no matter if you’re coming in for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have THE best chicken strips and soup/ salad bar. Staff is friendly and patient with kids.
The food was good, but the service could have been better. There were 18 of us there for a dinner meeting. We called in advance, but they don't take reservations. We knew they had a room in the back, but when we arrived, it wasn't open. Nor would they open it for us. We waited (all 18 of us) for about 25 minutes for a large table to clear. As it was, that table only held 10 so we still had to sit in 2 nearby booths. The staff did nothing special to accommodate us. It was disappointing considering there were so many of us and we knew they had a space we could have used. The customer is becoming less important every day.
I like Russ's.Always good food. Reasonably priced menu.Tables are clean, my waitress was friendly, helpful, and not a long wait on getting my food.I like the one in Wyoming Michigan, Cutlerville Michigan,Muskegon Michigan,And Grand Haven Michigan.All with the same helpful service.I was in Grand Haven Michigan a couple days ago.I had their soup n salad , potato bar. Nice price.And it fill me up.I love your soups.It's always a nice place to grab a bit to eat when your on the road traveling.?
Meatloaf dinner serving size was a bit small, only one slice but it was very good. Mac n cheese and the scalloped potatoe sides were great, also served with a warm roll. One of my favorite meals and I'll order it again. Not much for the vegetarians just a small soup n salad and potato bar, a vegetarian dinner menu page would be a wonderful improvement...
Our wait staff, Charles, did wonderful. The burgers are pretty good, and onion rings awesome. Our bill for 3 people came out about $34, so pretty affordable.
Very disappointed in how much this Russ has gone down hill. I was literally waiting a half hour, and the waitress never even came over to take our drink order. Mind you, I had my 3 year old granddaughter and my 81 year old mom with me. And a waiter and waitress served the tables by us, but never came to our table. Our total wait was an hour. And still no service. This is the 2nd time we had awful service.
I had some special requests and had everything I asked for taken care of very professionally and gracefully. Lauren did an AWESOME job as my server. She went above and beyond to make me feel at home and comfortable. I was eating alone (which I typically avoid and dislike) but this was different. Food was great. Drink was perfect! Service was exceptional!
Wow I love Russ's chicken dinner with 2 sides and you can even ask for white chicken if you don't care for dark meat.Really thru the years I have eaten some of the other meals and I can say they are all great. If you want soup and desserts they have great choices and it is all wonderful.
Soup was I e cold. They acted as if they did not understand the concept of prepared food. Why would I go to the lousy place if I wasn't going to eat?
