My husband and I ordered two half pound burgers and fries, as we normally do and have for years. It is normally the greatest burger we've had here in Flint. But last few times it just hasn't been the same! This very last time we ordered our burgers well done, very well done!! And when we both took a bite they were very very raw to the point we had no choice but to recook them ourselves. Then they were out of the regular fried so we had to settle for waffle fries, normally we wouldn't have a problem with that, but it literally tasted like they cooked the fires in a microwave. They were all soggy and just not done! You guys want your money and paid in full, I just want my food to be right that I'm paying for
It took a long time for us to get our food, like a long time, and the 2 strombolis came out at least 15 minutes before the other three dishes. Overall I wasn't impressed but on Saturday and Sunday they have a half off special on pizza and stromboli so they were slammed. I tried to consider that while we waited almost an hour for our food, but my fish came out almost burned and was only lukewarm when the waitress sat it down. The boys enjoyed their strombolis, but the rest of the food was just kind of meh.
First time dinning at the White Horse Tavern. We stopped in with a friend after a day of exploring the area. Service and food was excellent! My burger was cooked to order and the fish and chips was very good. We don’t get in the area very often but we will be repeat customers! I definitely recommend the White Horse Tavern!
I've been coming down here for years about time I got down to a review. Old school blue collar feel. Strong sturdy wood represents the city. I usually get Stromboli here especially on the weekend when they are half off!! Not many places still do old school Stromboli and you get 4 toppings to start. The small one is more than enough for one person. Love this place will be back soon.
OMG! The best pizza in Flint that I’ve ever tried hands down. You can taste every single topping as you bite into the pizza ? plus the Peach Mango Angry Orchard beer is awesome and amazing ? please try this spot out and try the pizza you will thank me later ?
Staff was so nice, and food was great, did you know the weekends they have pizza half off??
Delicious food! They seemed a little short-staffed or over-seated when I visited on a Saturday around 3pm. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the food made the wait worth it!
My burger and fries were good. Waitress was nice and the food came out in good time. Many office workers were here in groups of 6 people and seemed like a great lunch meeting spot.
Wow. This place is less than friendly. We came here for dinner and left disappointed. Very rude waitresses who were busy gossiping never came to take our order. We were sitting within earshot of the conversation between the two women. When we asked if we could order, she said be there in a minute. That minute never came. We left thoroughly insulted. Perhaps this is an off experience but it is our experience.
The food here is amazing! Their fish n chips, chili, and pizza are some of my favs. But everything they have is good!
