Great food
I spent over $11 for a brisket sandwich with barley any brisket. I bit into that cold sandwich and all I could taste was bread and coleslaw. I'm from Houston, Texas. You could never get away with that one back home. You can fool the folks here in MI with that but not me. We take BBQ serious down South. If your gonna use less meat you need to charge less. The first time I bought a meal when they first opened It was good. I gave em a good grade, but now I wouldn't waste the 10-15 min for a meal like that. When I complained they made me another one withoute coleslaw, telling me that they don't care If it's a great sandwich or not. Smh. At least give me what I payed for. A great bbq experience.
Was completely blown away by the brisket mac and cheese! Delicious! Can’t wait to come back
This was over a period of a month span:I have been here three times and I swear the consistency is horrible. The first time I ordered a brisket platter. The corn bread was dry and no flavor (1/5) and the macaroni (1/5) wasn't even cooked all the way and my brisket (2/5) was cold/Luke warm. The second time I came, I asked the girl what she recommended, she said the pork platter is her favorite. I said okay, let me try that. The pork wasn't bad it was actually warm (5/5) and I tried the Cole Slaw (4/5) and the Baked Beans (5/5), I also ordered the corn bread (2/5) it was again dry. I came back for one more try. I ordered a Brisket Platter (1/5) more fat than meat and again cold, a house salad (1/5) which consisted of lettuce and croutons. I tried the corn bread (5/5) it was finally moist and what a corn bread should be like. Every time I come here, the food is extremely inconsistent. Sometimes its the best thing ever, other times its like why did I waste $11 on a meal that I can't even eat? The customer service is always great, never a bad moment. However, for my BBQ needs I think I will just walk over to the Farmers Market. What I would recommend: baked beans, cole slaw, porkMy friend had some tacos and they looked great and he said they were awesome. I guess it just depends on what you get and when you get them? Came in this morning and got hooked up with with the brisket platter and tacos, the fried brussel sprouts as a side were a fantastic choice! 5 out of 5! Very personable staff and aesthetic on point.
Staff was very friendly. The food was amazing. Had fries and brisket taco. The fries were very crisp loved. The taco let's just say I dont like tomatoes onions or slaw I ate everything. Definitely worth the price.
This is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been. The food is great, the people are even better. If you go, you must try the brisket nachos with guacamole and jalapeño sauce. They are the best brisket nachos I’ve ever had!
We heard great things about the food ! Was awesome! Did not disappoint. Can’t wait to go back and try other things on the menu. Loved the pineapple habanero sauce
Had the Brisket nachos for lunch. They were delicious. I have been craving a good barbecue joint for Flint and I will be back soon!
