Service was good and the food was average.
We had an excellent experience. Everything from the food, waitress and atmosphere was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back soon.
We had perfect dinners for our group of 25 people. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding. I would highly recommend Redwood Lodge. We can’t wait to come back.
I had dinner and a beer flight here with my brother and son. We were seated promptly right after opening (4p). I had the fillet Oscar with mashed potatoes and the Redwood salad. The salad was unique that I chose to have with ranch on the side. I wish it would have been chilled more. The fillets were 4 ounces each with both being very good but one was more tender than the other. Crab cakes were tasty but thin. I also thought for the price they should offer a baked potato and not just mashed. Overall, I thought the meal was very good.The flight were six 6 ounce samples that the price varied on the type you selected. Most were average with 2 being good.My brother enjoyed his fish and chips along with my son saying his burger was good.Large parking lot with a lodge theme. Flat top and bar seating. Cloth napkins. Excellent service. $$$$ Pricey.The entree was very good but not excellent and with those prices they really need to set the bar to have returning customers. I probably would not return due to the price point.

I was in town on a business trip and heard raving reviews of this place. For it to be an upscale place, I was disappointed. I ordered the Salmon Oscar. Two pieces of salmon sitting on crab cakes, topped with asparagus, crab meat,and hollandaise. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the crab cakes were tasty,but very thin compared to what I'm used to. The asparagus looked like canned cut green beans. It was terribly overcooked. Asparagus should be vibrant green and have some crunch. This was like baby food. The crab meat that came on top was imitation crab meat. The photo below was taken before I completed sweeping the mushy asparagus and processed pollock off to the side.The lemon martini didn't disappoint!
Haven't had very good luck the last couple times my wife and I had dinner at Redwood but decided to give it another shot last night. Not sure what changed, but our dinner was beautifully plated and tasted amazing. Great experience all around. I highly recommend giving them another shot if you've had a bad experience over the last year. They definitely listen to the feedback and strive to improve their service. So happy to have one of our favorite spots back on the list! Compliments to the kitchen working the night of 5/11.
Food was good and service was good. We've been here a bunch of times and it doesn't disappoint. Nice fancy like dinner. They have sushi too which is awesome!
My grandpa passed away 2 days ago, and last night my dad and I came to eat here to try and get his mind off of losing his dad. Shortly after ordering our food, my dad had to leave abruptly because he was overwhelmed by being around so many people while he was grieving. When our waitress came to our table I briefly told her our situation and that we would be needing to get our meals to-go. She was very empathetic and our meals came out in to-go boxes EXTREMELY fast, and she and a man who I’m assuming was the manager personally came to our table to give their condolences which was very much appreciated, and their kindness meant a lot to my dad. The food was great too!
Group of 25 of us came in with reservations. We were jammed into a table with barely any room to cut our food. It was not that busy they could have spread us out more. Food was okay. The one plus was our server was great very professional and knowledgeable thank you to her.
