There's so much to say about this place. Management is awful, treats their employees like GARBAGE. Earlier this year my friend got food poisoning because the GM refused to shut down even though they lost heat. Made their employees work in inhabitable environment, water was freezing/ slush at the bottom of the sink.They continue to stay open even when there is malfunctions that leave their food unsafe to eat, has happened at least 2-3 times in 2022 that I know of. DO NOT recommend going here, it's pathetic.
Excellent location of this American-style Asian food chain.Quick service, friendly staff, and a clean dining room make for a pleasant experience at this outpost of Panda Express.I've been here a few times and I've consistently received hot and fresh food. All standard menu items are available.I like to stop here.when I'm traveling through Flint on the I-69/I-75 corridor. It's a fairly easy on and off from either highway.A solid option for a quick bite in Vehicle City.
I went through the drive thru last night and ordered the Orange Chicken with rice and fried crab cheese. The rice had no flavor and very little of it with my meal. The lo mein was onions and undercooked noodles. What happened to the veggies? And everything was cold. I'm very disappointed with the $15 it cost me. I won't be back. China City is worth the drive 100%
We had a group order from my office. I ordered orange chicken. It was not orange chicken when I got it, it was supper spicy. So I called them to let them know. They told me I needed a picture and the receipt and had to come in. I am on lunch. They delivered. It was their mess up not sure why they couldn’t just bring me the CORRECT order. So I got no lunch and they did not seem to care they messed up. I love Panda Express, I will use a different location moving forward. Mistakes happen, I was not upset about that, it’s upsetting that I have to prove someone else’s mistake and miss out on lunch. Thanks
I've gotten food at this location a few times. It was always your typical Panda Express fare, until the last time. March 16, 2022 I ordered chow mein with sweetfire chicken. It tasted a little different than it usually does (that's the pro of fast food-- consistency. You usually get the exact same thing every time, and know what to expect.), not wholly inedible, but *different*, and not good. But I had gotten it because I had a kitchen issue, and couldn't cook at home that night, so I ate it anyway. About 5 hours later, everything decided to come out any way it could. Food poisoning that lasted 3 days, and cost me a lot of work time and money. It was AWFUL. I've never had food poisoning in 40 years, until this meal and this night. I don't know what they did, or didn't do, but I can't even look at the building as I drive by without feeling my stomach lurch a little. No Panda Express for me ever again.
My and I ordered dinner. It took a long time and then the food wasn't hot and had no taste. I will not be going back.
This place will RIP YOU OFF! I was told by a manager that all service employees are trained to give out a receipt. Hmmm, you have to train somebody to give a receipt. Well they need to train their employees to give out the CORRECT receipt. I was given Grill Ticket and my order was shorted an entire meal which was approx 15.00. I was told without my receipt there is nothing they can do for me unless I show them my bank account proving I purchased my food from them. This is INSANE! I tried to call back to get the store manager name and my phone number was blocked on their phone.
Panda was really good today. Even though it was near closing, the food was hot and fresh. My family eats here about once a month. The food is always good. Occasionally menu selections are not available, but I believe that to be related to supply chain issues and not the fault of the restaurant. My only complaint is that entree portion sizes can vary widely. Sometimes the portions are generous, and other times the portions are very small, and not worth the money. We have encountered this are when ordering via drive through, but not when dining in the restaurant where customers observe them preparing orders.
I'm not a huge fan of this place. The food is very mediocre; it's not big portions, limited flavour, and the egg rolls are gross.However this specific location, I adore the manager Fina. I've been here twice and she has been there both times. She's very kind, helpful, has amazing customer service, good manager, and always tries her best to make it an overall great experience.If you like the subpar food, I recommend this location when Fina is working
Had black Angus Beef. The broccoli was stringy and overcooked. Had a mixture of rice with noodles, rice clumped together, dish was just so so.Noticed smaller takeout containers. Purchased 2 egg rolls and 2 dinners, one fork, one cookie and one sauce in the bag.Usually we are very satisfied, but not today. The egg rolls cold and dinner was fair at best. Not looking to try this again any time soon.
