My wife and I tried something new on this trip through Flint. We were pleasantly surprised as the food seemed fresh and the restaurant was not too busy. My wife had the veggie spud and a sandwich and I had soup and a sandwich and we both thought the food was great. The menu was very extensive and we will have to come back to try some new items. This establishment proudly serves coca-cola. An item of note: *They bus your tables when you are done eating we didn’t realize this until we were about to leave and a employee told us this.
At the time I stopped, between 3:30-4:00, the place was clean and quiet with few customers. The service was fine. The food was pretty good although my baked potato could have been warmer. My ham melt sandwich was quite good. All in all, I will be back to try more options.
From the time we entered until the moment we left we had a nice lunch. The cashier clerk was extremely helpful with suggestions and kept a smile on her face. We were greeted with a smile upon entering and when we left she had that same energy!! It was 5 of us might I add! Our orders were correct and delicious!
I normally LOVE this place…stopped in today and ordered a spicy Turkey pepper jack sandwich, with a pickle spear and a bag of chips. both of the ladies behind the counter were pre occupied with a FaceTime call, the back of the house wasn’t even paying any attention, I did not receive the pickle spear, and the sandwich was just a bunch of different cheeses thrown onto the bread. I’m on a time crunch and don’t have time to go back so I’m very upset about this. The sticker doesn’t even have the correct name or correct order on it.
The food is great, but the service is sooooo slow. They need to train their workers on the cash register before putting them in that position. I waited 45 minutes for a take-out order that was placed 25 minutes before we got there. After I had been waiting 45 minutes for my food, a girl that walked in got a free drink because she had to wait 5 minutes while they tried to figure out the cash register....excuse me? I just dropped $75, waited 45 minutes and didn't even get an apology. Sorry, I won't be back.
So delicious and fresh! They use quality cheese on their spuds and it tastes amazing. Love how customizable it is. Good prices too. I'm gluten free and haven't had any issues yet here! Yay for that!! Just hope they get a gluten free dessert for us someday ❤️
I've been to this location twice and had a great experience both times. Modest portions at a good price is the first thing I noticed but the quality and taste is what keeps me coming back. Quick and friendly service allows it to be an easy lunch stop.
Absolutely love the food! Service needs to be improved you cannot dine in after 8pm and they lock the door around 8:15pm yet they close at 9.NEVER in my life seen a business do that.
Did a pick up order and the staff was friendly and there was someone cleaning the tables. But the food portions were small and we were still hungry after eating. As we were walking out people eating there seemed to have bigger portions than our pick up order. The taste wasn't the best, but not bad. For the price and what we got, we probably won't go back. Will stick to our usual firehouse subs when feeling like a sandwich.
The place is really nice and the staff is great . We got 2 sandwiches 1 soup 2 drinks and 2 desserts 2 bags of chips and 2 pickles . Food was really good . Cost $ 40 bucks so not bad price either. The staff takes care of your dishes and asked if everything was good . We'll go there again .
