Recently checked out Italia gardens while visiting Flint. Growing up, there were a ton of great local Italian restaurants in the area. Italia gardens was brought up alot in those conversations. So I decided to grab takeout and see if they were still good. I got the lasagna dinner, it comes with a giant loaf of bread and salad. I loved the garlic butter with the bread, extremely good. The lasagna was ok, the sauce is a little too sweet in my opinion. If you do order It, make sure you add a meatball. It definitely needed a lot more meat or some kinda of substance. But overall, its a good local restaurant and it’s worth checking out if you’re a anti chain person like myself.
I had the Antipasto salad, and my co-worker had the meatballs, ravioli, manicotti, and Spaghetti and it was very good. The waitress was very nice.
We came here for dinner. This was our first time. As soon as we sat down our young waitress brought us waters and bread. Then asked us what we would like to drink. We both had wine. Mine was quite delicious. I got a sweet red. Then we ordered some meat sauce to go with our bread then ordered our food. The meat sauce was sweet and delicious. And she brought us our salad. I got a mostacholi with sausage and she got a chicken pasta. My meal was over all very tasty. I enjoyed it alot and had a substantial amount of leftovers. She enjoyed hers as well. We sat and drank our wine after we finished our meal. It was rather cheap. I thought it would have been more. It was around 40$ for both of us. I would love to go back some time. I quite enjoyed myself.
Ordered carry out. The bread was warm and included garlic butter. We had the Mostaccioli Al Forno with mushrooms and Spaghetti and meatballs. We ordered the spaghetti with three meatballs and tomato sauce but it had meat sauce and only two meatballs. That was disappointing but very good. Food was very good.
My wife and I were out traveling through the Flint area when we decided to stop at Italia Gardes on Miller Rd. We had been there several times before and also at the closed Flint restaurants. My wife ordered the Chicken Plicata and I the lunch Lasagna. The Lasagna was spectacular. The sweet Italian tomato sauce is unique to the Garden and makes for a great taste treat! My wife just raved about the Chicken Plicata and after tasting I had to agree! I can go on about the salad and the oven cooked bread! This was truly a great meal!
We had a great date night at this location. Food was awesome, left super full and with leftovers. The bread reminds me of my grandma and I literally would stop in every day for a fresh loaf if I could!
Our waitress was excellent! Orders were taken immediately. She was customer friendly and had a great sense of humor. The orders were delivered quickly and the entrees were brought out a short time later! The entrees were excellent. We will definitely return to Italia Gardens Flint! We were celebrating a birthday, brought our own special birthday cake, and our waitress took it to their refrigerator to keep it cool! Very nice gesture that helped make our visit very pleasant!
Amazing food.Excellent staff. My husband and I have been telling everyone we know about it. I am hoping to go again soon. The portion sizes are huge. Pizza is cooked in a wood fired oven. Salad great. My 11 year old couldn't finish her meal it was so big, and that was from the kids meal. Imagine olive garden style mixed with a high quality personal chef situation. I can't say enough. Prices are really a good value. Our server, Enrique was the BEST with a doubt.. professional and kind.Eat here!!

Ordered the Spitini Fettuccini and it was terrible. Meat quality is horrible. The worst way of preparing meat is to fry it. Alfredo sauce was very greasy. Definitely not a quality food place. The only thing I liked there is the Lambrusco otherwise I’ll give them just one star.
