I cannot believe their ribs. This place should not be able to make ribs this good. Pulled pork is excellent. Fried catfish second to none. Fried chicken is excellent. I love the choices u get at a buffet. This one has too many. All great. If I leave it on my plate, I'm probably just too full to finish it.
The food varies between decent and bad. The mini hamburgers were cold and hard. Like they have been sitting there for a while. The stuffing was very wet. It tasted like there were more water in it then food. Staff was nice. Another thing to mention is we were charged for 6-7 people even though there was only 4 of us dining together. Probably won't be back
I have a former background in food service. Quality of the food was highly variable. Most dishes were at the proper holding temperature, but there were a few that weren't. There was a tomato and cucumber salad where where the color was off and it appeared sketchy. I would not have served it and I sent mine back without tasting it. I always feel that I have to eat cautiously when I eat here. The desserts are to die for. Wait staff was friendly and attentive.
The Buffet was awesome. I ate fried fish, baked fish. Bourbon street chicken, stuffing, corn, green beans, popcorn shrimp, peach cobbler, chocolate fudge,and sweet tea all for $9.49.
This is a very clean, efficient, and well organized buffet. While the wait staff and bus people were pleasant and friendly the young man at the register was just the opposite. He is the first employee you meet when entering this establishment, and that person should at least pretend to be happy that you are about to spend forty dollars at that moment. However, he never spoke except to tell us how much it would be, not did he make eye contact even for a second. His countenance, and overall demeanor was such that one doesn't feel welcome at all. The food was plentiful, well stocked, and of very good to excellent quality. The only exception to what otherwise would have been a completely satisfactory experience was the young man at the register who either needs to make a major personality adjustment or relegated to the dish washing area away from customers.
We took our family for Mother's Day.They have an amazing variety of quality food. The preparation and the tastes of each selection that I tried was impressive, not requiring additional seasonings. There were no complaints from our group nor did I notice any from other patrons.The staff were pleasant and engaging. Also, I received senior discounts and a bariatric discount for members of our party.
The food was very good. Especially the ribs and my husband enjoyed the steak. It was cooked to perfection. Our nephew loved the fried chicken. We enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant wore their PPE. Very satisfied.
