Worst service ever. Waited 30 minutes for a server to come to the table, no one came. We had to ask the host if someone would be coming to our table. Once the waitress arrived we were told she didn’t know we were her table waiting another 20 minutes on our drinks. She never brought the bread that she said was coming. My moms dinner salad was deliver several minutes after our meals arrived. We had to ask for silverware. Our waitress then notified us they were out of coleslaw after the food was brought out so we had to choose new sides (not a huge deal I get it). We asked once more for the bread it still never showed. We received our boxes and the bill and asked again for the bread to go now and guess what the bread never showed. We watched several other tables sit without being served and then to be told they weren’t in her section after they waited 30 minutes plus to be acknowledged. They then got up and moved tables in hopes she would serve them. She had 3 tables sitting in her section. It was absolutely uncalled for and distasteful. A manager needs to be present at all times and or further training for all staff needs to be provided. I have waitressed for 13 years so I know things happen and people have bad days but today was just inexcusable.
We have been coming to this location for years. It has gone down hill so bad in the last two years. The staff is rude, your order will not be correct on the first or second try, and don’t expect biscuits because half of the time, they are out. I asked the waitress for biscuits and she told me there aren’t any. Yet another table was given some, so I asked again and she told me I already told you there aren’t any. The waitstaff here used to be the best. Now they are the worst. It is worth the 45 minute drive to a different location for decent food and good service.
100% better experience from last week at a different Cracker Barrel thanks to Tammy our waitress. Exceptional!! Pancakes are amazing.
Went today for a late breakfast. Check in at the hostess station was a joke, they weren’t taking names just waiting in a line to be seated. What’s the point of having a store attached to the restaurant if you have to wait in line to be seated? We got to our table and waited 10 minutes for drinks, which the busser brought for us (thanks for your kindness today, Joey!). 10 minutes later our waitress stops in to say she’ll be back for orders…queue the waiting again. After another wait, our order was finally placed and 45 minutes later, I went and asked Joey (as he was the only person on the floor) what the issue was as other diners had received their food who had arrived after us. Our waitress visited again after another 5 minutes or so stating “it should be right out”. 15 minutes later (so we had been waiting for our food for an hour now) my partner goes to the manager and asks them what the issue is because our food still is not out. The manager said nothing about it except give my partner some not so polite facial expressions as our waitress came up to interrupt them that once again the order should “be right out”. My partner came back to the table with no solutions from the manager (shocker) and after another 5 minutes we got up and asked the hostess for our check for our two drinks as the waitress had not been back to see us. Our waitress did let us leave without paying for the drinks, which is the least they could have done, but it’s just sad that Cracker Barrel has gone so down hill. We will not be returning. Our previous time visiting this location during covid (more understandably) we had an extremely long wait as well, but my food had been under the hot lamp so long my coleslaw was hot…and I was hoping that they had stepped up their game some since then…but I guess they haven’t.
Used to have good luck, but not this time. The steak was VERY bland. The following up after the meal was served left much to be desired and it took over 15 minutes to bring the check after we were obviously done eating. (They were busy, but there was a lot of staff on the floor) And if you ask, no I did not speak to a manager, as I did not see a manager while I was there. They used to come around, introduce themselves and ask how everything was, not lately though. I do hope that this is not the "new normal" for Cracker Barrel.
Service is slow at best food brought to table without sliver ware. Absolutely horrible never go back….veggies were raw!
It's been a long time since I've been to a cracker barrel and that's when I lived in another state so I didn't know what to expect. I was very pleased with how wonderful it was. Staff was friendly and welcoming, the food as delicious as I remembered. I have zero complaints, I even bought some very cute/ hilarious magnets. I'll be returning for sure ?
I ordered a chicken tender box with Mac and cheese and a full order of Mac and cheese at 8pm on DoorDash. when I received my order at 9pm it was a cup of bacon bits and a cup of shredded cheese. How ridiculous for a $25 order!
We came here on our way home from a trip. The food was hot but the portions were smaller. They had plenty of staff but had a couple menu items missing due to lack of them in stock. The waiter was new and helpful. We were treated very well here. The food lacked something from the normal but we were full when we left. I hope it gets better our next visit. There's nothing better than those Dumplings and Carrots when they are right. Our biscuits were better than average so that was a plus. Thinking about it now the options in the store were cheaper than remembered. We will return here with hopes of it being how we remembered. The staff made up for the food this time.
Had a nice breakfast for my wife's and I's anniversary. Was pretty busy but no wait, our service was fine the food was better then average. I'm happy with the whole experience just was a little disappointed with the service. In my own opinion they seemed to not have enough staff for the number of customers which made the waiters and waitresses have to rush you to order then through your meal always in a big hurry I felt it made dining here a bit less enjoyable experience as I have had in years past and would expect from this place. But again nothing was actually bad so I gave it 4 stars. Just didn't meat my expectations.
