A worker left a review on here 3 months ago who said they were addressing the ripped seats issue. They haven't. It's worse than ever. They took FOREVER to seat us.I was embarrassed I took a first date here.Food was just ok. My guess is workers aren't paid a livable wage by owners. That's why they need employees so bad.
Nice but not many people. Sort of dingy interior and some chairs have a ripped cushion. Although their are some cons they give large portions and they have good food! I recommend the wet Bonito with burrito beef!
Super friendly staff and food was pretty quickly delivered to our table which was part of a brightly and uniquely decorated restaurant. I enjoyed my first experience here despite the food being just north of average in flavor. It was not terrible by any means, it was very nicely presented but maybe I've just been spoiled with some very excellent Hispanic flavors. I will definitely eat here again.
Menus were dirty, seats all ripped and very short on help. That being said I enjoyed my food. I think this could be a great Mexican restaurant with a few repairs. Sad that the food is good and restaurant is shabby
Disgusting, no way this is authentic Mexican food. Beans are out of a can the steak was tough the chicken enchiladas with the green sauce was terrible. I would never recommend this place to my enemies let alone my friends. If I could give negative ratings I would.
I was told their drinks were worth the visit….. I should’ve just just made my own. The drinks would’ve been excellently made if they were supposed to be virgin, because there was barely a hint of liquor/alcohol.. I didn’t try the food. But shout out to our waiter, he was patient and had a good attitude even when we explained that we were dissatisfied with the drinks.
I’ve been working at Casa Real for a few years now, we have very good servers who are respectful and friendly. We do have our days where there is a long wait because of us having only 3 servers. I see a lot of customers under the reviews talking about how we take to long to sit you and bring out drinks if it was such a big problem you guys can fill out an application or stay home and cook. We all work as a team. The sign in the front says we have the right not to serve you simple. If you know anyone 16+ that needs a job send them our way we need all the help we can get.P.S- we are working very hard to get our ripped seats fixed so stop talking stuff about our restaurant if you can’t help us.
Horrible service. Waited to be seated forever. Waitress acted bothered when she finally seated us. Waited forever for her to take our drink order. Waited forever for our drinks. A young man refilled our chips for the salsa and we seen and heard her yell at him for giving us more chips. I asked for our bill when she brought the drinks because we were in a hurry and everything else had taken so long. She never brought it to us so we left cash on the table and left. Super rude. Not a fan of all their rude signs by the cash register either. Good margs but won’t be back for the terrible service. 3rd time we’ve been there and had terrible service.
I turned 21 in August and haven’t been able to get into Secretary of State to get my license changed to a horizontal one yet. It also doesn’t expire until my next birthday in August. When I came in and ordered a drink with my vertical license they refused me service because they “don’t take vertical ID’s because of the Michigan liquor license laws”. I’ve been out plenty of times with this license and have had no issues. I also can’t find any laws on the internet to back this up.
The food and portions were amazing. I will definitely be back. And the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
