My friends and I are regulars here, although none of us live in the area! The Laundry is a perfect meet-up spot, with friendly service and delicious food guaranteed. There is always something for everyone on the menu, and I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Everything about it radiates good vibes.
First things first the food in my experience is very good food here. The restaurant definitely gives a casual yet upscale type vibe. We visited today for sandwiches to go for our anniversary lunch together. There was a little wait once we arrived to pick up our lunch (Saturday afternoon understandable) Their food was very good with fresh ingredients and good portions. My wife and I enjoyed our lunch very much! My only gripe when visiting their restaurant would be prices, which seem to be on the higher end. Yet with many things in life you pay for what you get, and fresh ingredients on a good sized sandwich creates a quality lunch worth a little extra coin. I will be back. If you've never been it's worth a visit.
Waiter, James was fantastic
Traditional Eggs Benedict
Vicky was a great server and the food was a fantastic!
My wife and I came for a late breakfast placed on a 45 minute wait, no problem I have no complaints to wait for good food and service. We both ordered the steak and eggs medium rare with eggs over easy, ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES later our five slivers of steak came so well done i can't even understand why it was even brought to us. Explained the situation and more steak was brought rare, our bill came out to us with a 50% discount....? However the waitress was very in formative and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Will be a long time before we return for another attempt.
My pretzel bun sandwich was awesome. Loaded in turkey. The honey mustard mayo was perfect. My grand daughter got a breakfast hash bowl. She said it was really good also. I will be back. It was crowded so we opted to eat at the bar. Waitresses were so friendly an attentive.
This will be very short; $21.00 for a corned beef sandwich and a pickle is outrageous. I realize the market has changed but this is nothing but greed.
Stopped here on the way home from Ann Arbor because my traveling companion said their French Onion Soup was second to none. He was not wrong. We had that and the crispy half-chicken each. I skipped the kale and got extra mashed potatoes. The food was outstanding. Really just wonderful from start to finish. The waitstaff is great as well. Our waitress was prompt and attentive but not overbearing. Super friendly too.My only knock is the price. For the above-mentioned food and two slices of pie, the bill tallied over $80. Not exactly cheap or even average. The food was good, yes, but the chicken was one of the cheapest meals on the menu and it definitely goes way up from there.Excellent little stop forn special occasion I think, and probably even lunch. But for a casual dinner stop? You really better want some French Onion Soup.
Over priced for what you get. Slow service, long wait times. They try to make you believe price is because of quality of food, it is not, is because of area, high rent and owner greed period.
