Went to this place at 3:15 pm on 5/23/22. The place was absolutely devoid of people and suspiciously quiet. The entire place seems to be financially struggling and run-down. Menu items like the mandarin duck were out of stock, and when I went to the bathroom. It was a very weird experience. Despite no customers, the bathroom had no soap, and when I went to use the urinal I walked into cobwebs. Definitely would not come back here again, this place is creepy!
The food is always good I didn't like that they did not have any spicy sauce its usually red and in a really small container. The crackers were only available to buy a whole roll or a box. When usually crackers are a courtesy in Michigan. Other states don't give you crackers; so we're special but not here apparently. LOL.. Sorry guys I started eating then I realized I should take a picture. Everybody I meet is intrigued by the green onions and they start to put it all over their food as well. It's really good?.
I am not quite sure what happened to this restaurant, but the food I just had delivered, is now in the trash! I ordered sweet and sour chicken (which I've done many times pre-pandemic). This "chicken" was undercooked and definitely NOT the all white meat I was used to. The sauce is red and flavorless, fried rice was rubbery to say the least. The egg roll...I don't even know where to begin. Quite disappointing since I was looking forward to eating here after returning the office. Never again!
General Tso was mostly bread around the chicken, very little chicken. Didn't taste like much either, no spice. Almost sweet. Maybe they gave me something else?
Good food, descent prices. My neighbors kept this one a secret. I would go just for the egg rolls. Tiny but delicious
DoorDash order—Hot and sour soup was sweet and sour sauce or something. Steamed chicken with vegetables was 80% white onion. Orange chicken was dry. I’ve never had “bad” Chinese takeout before.
This place got a great ambience, quantity of food is amazing. We got noodles and they were really good. Please help local businesses during this pandemic time
Very friendly hard-working staff. Everyone was very inviting and the restaurant was very clean I would definitely go back and I would definitely recommend this place
Not bad. Covid is impacted staffing. But I encourage you to support small businesses instead of leaving one star reviews for your own minor inconvenience. This is part of cultivating your own virtue of patience as a human being. Only by understanding others, you may then felt understood by others yourself, it goes both ways. Food is not bad, there’s only the husband cooking and wife doing everything else.
This place won't be here long. You get greeted it's slow service. Ordered a coke and it comes out in a 12 oz. Can! No Refills. Dining room was HOT 80'S for sure as I was soaked in sweat. Food was good the best part. They were doing 80% takeout business. Waitress super friendly!. So a 3 for dine in probably 4-5 takeout. Polite people but the complete dine in experience was I will not be back.
