Absolutely amazing! The food is amazing and hearty. Prices are not high as some other reviews stated. We got the Udon ramen, Shin ramen, and a California roll. The Udon had the most crab meat that I’ve had from any restaurant and great taste. The Shin didn’t disappoint it had great tastes and heat to it. Both ramens had enough for multiple meals. The California roll was the least expensive we’ve had in a long time. I am not a fan of sushi but my wife and son made sure it didn’t make it to the leftover bowl. They said it was really good and we need to go back. We have gone to quite a few ramen restaurants and this one felt more authentic and wholesome. Yes, it is “comfortable” but that means that you might have to talk to the person next to you or maybe even have an actual conversation. They have games at the tables and I highly recommend if you’ve made it this far to get off your butt and go to this restaurant.
One of my favorite restaurants in East Lansing! The food is amazing and I love the restaurant’s vibe.
stopped by here when I was visiting MSU with some friends. Wacky vibes but in a good way. Would come here everyday if I could
Honestly, it’s one of those hole-in-the-wall restaurants where you’re concerned as soon as you enter but then the food comes and you’re so glad you stopped by. I definitely want to come back.
Took my wife here for dinner thought it was great until we both noticed that both our meals contained shrimp that had not been properly cleaned, every shrimp in both our meals still had the poop track in it.
Went in there to get tea, waited for them to finish what they were doing for a good bit, just to be told they don’t have ICE to make tea. What restaurant doesn’t have ice?? To top off the trip, they were prepping cabbage without any gloves on. Gross.
Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Lansing. The atmosphere is homey and the portions are generous. Everything I've tried here is great but the dumplings and hotpot are especially delightful. If you enjoy cozy, relaxed settings and home-cooked food, Udon Sushi is a must-visit!
Excellent food in a cool little building. Had some very unique decor!
I wanted to write a long rant about the horrible food quality of this eatery, but I decided that it's enough to post three pictures of what they say they have as miso ramen on chowbus and what they actually delivered. If what they delivered is "miso ramen", the Earth might as well be flat. They really think their customers are mostly "born-yesterday", landlocked Midwestern college students.
hands down the best sushi i have ever had in my entire life. the owner is super friendly, and the store has a super fun atmosphere.
